Matthew Hull 26 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I didn't have much left in the tank after Millkin Mile (especially since I've played @ Harbin Park the two days before today!) but I had enough to play one quick round @ Miami U. in Hamilton. Had some nice drives too (along with some LOUSY putts)."

Matthew Hull 54 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Miami U. - Hamilton course is still open despite the craziness going on in the world. I continue to play just the original nine holes (the new #3 has replaced the old #1) for the time being and, while I didn't have my best stuff today, it was still a fun time. My Falcon Servo hit a wonderful line on #3 while my Star Stingray hit the most amazing line on #6. The Stingray throw looked like an Ace until the very end when it dipped beneath the basket and landed long."

Matthew Hull 24 - Regular tees, 9 holes "And the streak continues!! After hitting a smooth straight line on #3 with my Neutron Envy, I pulled it out of the bag on #5 and threw it on a hyzer line and it found the Ace! Due to the new location of the basket along with the trees/bushes blossoming, this is becoming a more difficult hole to Ace but my "Ace King" disc wasn't fazed one bit. ;) That's now 27 consecutive months with at least one Ace which is a streak I am immensely proud of...especially considering how crazy things are in the world right now (and courses are being shut down left and right)."

Matthew Hull 51 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "My final couple of rounds today went relatively well. It was nice to put together a solid Champion Destroyer drive on #2 (definitely didn't have my best drives today) and my Neutron Envy and Falcon Servo continue to hit smooth lines on #3. I am just grateful for the opportunity to play this game...as long as it lasts..."

Matthew Hull 55 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "The weather forecast was pretty yucky today (around 40 with rain/sleet) but I lucked out enough to enjoy part of my five rounds with decent enough weather. When it turned though, it was horrible! It eventually started to rain quite a bit which made it really tough to not only drive but putt effectively. I willed myself to the end though. :)"
-3
Matthew Hull 51 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "My Falcon Servo and Blue Bomber Buzzz continue to shine...even in dreary conditions. My Servo was consistently solid on #3 (had a sweet forehand throw on #8 as well) while my Buzzz darn near found another Ace on #5! My putting was hit or miss too. I made some really nice ones but boy...I missed a TON inside of 15 ft!"
-4
Matthew Hull 23 - Regular tees, 9 holes "The Roach-a-matic is back!!! My ultra workhorse putter hit a sweet hyzer line on Hole #5 and it had a funny finishing move! It hit the chains and I knew without a doubt it was in for the Ace. But what happened is it hung in the chains for a few seconds (felt like forever) before finally breaking free and falling gently to the bottom of the basket. It was just funny in that it seemingly took forever to settle (whether or not it sticks in the chains or falls to the surface of the inside of the basket is irrelevant I suppose but it's fun to discuss!) This winded up being my best round of the morning/early afternoon despite the weather really turning nasty by this point too."

Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "WOW!! I barely even made it to Miami U. with much daylight left at all and yet I managed to put together a true dream round somehow! Holy moley! First of all, several baskets have been changed (a welcome change...temp. baskets to Patriot baskets among others!) and the location of the baskets slightly differs as well. That didn't stop me from nailing Hole #5 for a 21st time though! I went with the suddenly white hot Blue Bomber Buzzz, put a nice hyzer line on my throw, and it went right in for the Ace! What's scary is that I have been hitting the temp. basket for so long that I feel I am going to gobble up a whole slew of new Aces now that we have a superb basket in place! Whoo-hoo! The rest of the round was awesome too! I brought my Star Roadrunner along for the ride and it came through in spades on #6, my Falcon Servo drive on #7 (my "bane" hole) was even amazing, I put together a solid Falcon Servo forehand throw on #8, and my Lucid Enforcer landed on the top of the hill to the right on #9 and I made a sweet 25 ft. putt from the top of the hill! My Champion Destroyer landed right by the #2 basket while my Blue Bomber Buzzz landed right next to the #3 one. It was a great round! :)"

Matthew Hull 52 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It's been a long time but I finally made it back out to Miami University - Hamilton and my oh my how things have changed! I went ahead and played the original nine hole course a whole slew of times today but a few holes have been changed and this is now an 18 hole course which is way cool!! I will definitely have to try out the new course next time I come out here. I can say that my Trace of Hearts and G Star Valkyrie both hit metal on the Hole #3 basket! Neither throw could match my lone Ace on this hole last year though (with my Star Beast). Oh...and while I played well for the most part, Hole #7 is still my bane at times. That five really killed my second round..."

Matthew Hull 52 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "My putting has been a real issue lately with me trying my Keystone and Star Aviar then moving back to the Roach. I want to develop consistency with other putters than the Roach but, funny enough, I keep making my way back to said Roach. In any case, I had a few good holes but I blew lots of golden opportunities for birdies as well."
-1
Matthew Hull 53 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It was definitely too low for me to think "Ace" too seriously but my rainbow Champion Destroyer did manage to nail the pole on the 275 ft. Hole #2 which was certainly one of my best drives of the day. That disc and my Trace of Hearts are ones I have been working on lately and both hit pretty solid lines this afternoon/evening. I had an exciting drive on Hole #9 with my Lucid Enforcer where it turned to the right but had distance to it and faded late. Unfortunately, it landed 20-25 ft. past the basket (I missed the putt too.) but had that drive faded more, who knows what might have happened!"
-4
Matthew Hull 23 - Regular tees, 9 holes "It was getting fairly dark by this point but I managed to squeeze one final round in and lo and behold...I hit Hole #5 for the 20th time! This simple 135 ft. hole requires smooth touch and just the right amount of fade and the Blue Bomber Buzzz nailed it for its second Ace in 3 days! Holes #1-4 were outstanding too as I made some great putts and my drives were wonderful! Too bad I struggled on the two wooded holes beyond #5...otherwise a record round was possible. At least I snagged the Ace, eh?"

Matthew Hull 51 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "For the fourth straight day, I found myself playing @ Miami U. - Hamilton! This was officially the first day of my furlough at work and what better way to enjoy it than to get outside and enjoy the beautiful day? It was perfect weather (sunny with a few clouds and a noticeable breeze) and, while I didn't have a superb first round like the past two days, my second round was pretty solid."
-5
Matthew Hull 49 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I was really feeling my Star Roadrunner on Hole #6 today! You have a really low ceiling there and you need to somehow put just the right amount of height/turn in your throw to have a chance. Well, my Roadrunner hit a superb line and it had just a bit too much turn (still got the deuce though). I also have to mention that my Star Beast OWNED Hole #9 today! I don't know if it was the wind or what but it hit the perfect line and landed a mere 3-5 ft. behind the basket! What an Ace that could be!"
-9
Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I believe that this is my new personal best score in regards to playing 2x rounds! It all came down to Hole #9 and my goodness did I ever lay down the sledgehammer there! My Star Beast once again hit a superb line getting just the right amount of turn before fading *just* above the downhill concrete slab of doom (that nickname might stick...that concrete can WRECK your discs) and giving me a 15 ft. putt (which I made). It was the second round finish that was particularly awesome. I trusted in my Sword and, while it hit a smooth line, it turned too much and came up way short as a result. However, I buried the 45-50 ft. putt and I even had a witness (the assistant dean of Miami U. in fact!) I simply told myself to put some extra zip on my putt and it hit the line I needed to hit!"
-4
Matthew Hull 50 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I probably should have called it quits after the previous round but I kept right on playing...against logic...against sense. ;) I did manage to play well enough though. No Aces to report, however which is insane really. I literally stumbled into a Falcon Servo Ace on #5 with my friend Michael on Friday the 13th and over the course of the next three days and all those rounds I played...NADA! That's how it goes I suppose..."

Matthew Hull 47 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Wow!! That's two days in a row where I managed to start out with a 5 under round! My rainbow Champion Destroyer simply nailed the lines on #1 and 2 to start with the Recoil coming close on #8. My Sword continues to hit a smooth line on #9 too!"
-6
Matthew Hull 48 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "My oh my...my Champion Destroyer hit a glorious line on the 275 ft. Hole #2 by going nice and straight before fading at the perfect time...and going just a bit past the basket (landed 10 ft. past it)! I thought it hit a chance to go in but it just missed the mark. That's probably my best ever drive on that hole! On top of that, I had another smooth Falcon Servo drive on #7 and I made a sweet Roach putt there! Too bad I couldn't play the other holes as well!"
-6
Matthew Hull 48 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It's too bad that first round wasn't any better because my second round rocked! I had one of my finest drives ever on Hole #4 (275 ft. hole with low-hanging tree branches and a large tree in the way and a downward dipping area where the basket is located...just beyond where the woods start) as I went for the straight line and my Star Beast nailed it landing 12-15 ft. past the basket which is insane for me! I played Holes #5 and 8 very well these rounds too. The Falcon Servo came VERY close on #8 actually. My forehand is getting better...slightly better but better."
-5
Matthew Hull 22 - Regular tees, 9 holes "My final round was a real gem of a round for sure! My Champion Destroyer hit wonderful lines on #1 and 2 while my Star Beast was good enough on #3. I went Champion Destroyer on #4 and I got lucky because it was really straight and didn't fade until late but it somehow "got sneaky" though to where I just needed to make a 20 ft. putt with some branches in the way. It's just too bad that my Falcon Servo drive on #5 went too far. I didn't have great touch on #5 today (most of my throws went too far). It might have been my finest collection of rounds @ Miami U. on the same day though (despite no Aces)."

Matthew Hull 48 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "All I can say is that it felt GREAT to come back out to Miami U. and avenge what happened last night on Holes #6-8. I had a similar round heading into #6 and I was able to put together a birdie there before having an unreal Falcon Servo drive on the dreaded #7 and my Roach putt from 18-20 ft. out went in which was awesome! My rainbow Champion Destroyer and Star Beast drivers are nailing the lines on Holes #1, 2, and 4 these days too."
-4
Matthew Hull 50 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I really played Hole #3 well today! I alternated between my Star Beast (the one disc that I have aced that hole with!) and my Falcon Servo and they both served me well there. I snagged a rare birdie on #9 thanks to a superb Sword drive that turned but then straightened out and got nice distance."
-2
Matthew Hull 52 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "My rainbow Champion Destroyer hit a wonderful hyzer line on Hole #4 and landed a mere 10-15 ft. in front of the basket. It felt great! I kept trying with my Falcon Servo on #5 but I couldn't manage to hit the Ace line today. My Sword came through on #9 again though!"

Matthew Hull 24 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Happy Friday the 13th (with a Full Moon even)! :) After what was one of the most draining and stressful weeks of work EVER, I joined my friend Michael for a few rounds of disc golf over @ Miami U. - Hamilton and I actually played very well (for the MOST part as you will see). My rainbow Champion Destroyer hit the most beautiful S-curve right off the bat on #1 and it hit another superb line on #2! I then threw my Star Beast which came in too hot but thankfully hit a tree branch and landed 10-15 ft. from the basket (who says luck doesn't play a role in this sport...or any sport?) Unfortunately, I put too much on my Falcon Servo drive on #5 and my Falcon Servo forehand throw on #8 went into the woods. However, after a decent Star Roadrunner drive on #9, I threw my Shield too late and it hit a tree branch, deflected off the tree itself, and faded right into the basket for the birdie! When it's your night it's YOUR night! :)"
E
Matthew Hull 27 - Regular tees, 9 holes "This round wasn't nearly as good as the first one but I still played pretty well overall. I went with my Megasoft Shield on #5 and, while it went just long, I was able to put in the 12-15 ft. straddle putt with relative ease."
+1
Matthew Hull 28 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Well how about that? With my friend Michael looking on, I threw my Falcon Servo on Hole #5 and I could SWEAR that I had put too much on the throw. However, it faded enough and somehow stuck the landing for yet another Ace on that hole for my Falcon disc! WOW! The good news is that my new Star Valkyrie hit some sweet lines this final round (I went with that disc since it was mostly dark by this point.) especially on #1 and 2! My Falcon Servo hit a solid line on #3 too (threw it with too much velocity but thankfully it faded enough to give me a manageable putt). The only negative of the entire evening was the way I played Holes #6-8 during this final round. After getting the Ace I made every conceivable mistake on the latter holes. It was embarrassing! I kept chucking my drives into the woods and having dreadful lies and overshooting my upshot (with my Roach). Oh well...it was an epic round for five holes I suppose! In any case, I got another Ace!"

Matthew Hull 51 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "With a very small window of time to play (Sandy and Ryan and I had an appointment with Benihana for some delicious filet mignon and hibachi steak this evening!), I still elected to head out to Miami U. - Hamilton for some quick rounds of disc golf! It was probably a silly idea to even play and yet it was a fun time! My putting continues to be a real issue but the upshots with my Shield and Roach feel superb once more! Unfortunately, the Hole #6 and 7 baskets are damaged and the #7 one was even lying on the ground! I was able to at least stand them up so I could play but they really need to put in permanent baskets there versus the unforgiving temporary ones."
-3
Matthew Hull 24 - Regular tees, 9 holes "YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!! :) One perfect toss on Hole #5 made my decision to play @ Miami U. - Hamilton the right call tonight! I made a MAD DASH through the course as I needed to finish and get home but you know how it can be. "One more round" is the calling card of disc golf aficionados just like "one more try" is the mandra of video game fans. In any case, my Falcon Servo hit a simple but beautiful light hyzer line on Hole #5 for its 10th ever Ace! That hole has belonged to the Servo since I started playing here and I couldn't be happier to see it go in once more! My Falcon Servo hit a smooth line on Hole #3 (faded just a bit too early and hit the tree branches) and darn near found the Ace line on #8 (superb forehand toss that landed 5-10 ft. to the right of the basket)! Unfortunately, I missed an easy putt on #9 and got robbed of a made putt on #1 (hit the bloody chains squarely and still spit out somehow) but still...that Ace felt great! It's probably the quickest round I have EVER played on this course too...lol! And Benihana was fantastic btw! ;)"
