Great course.. This course has Am and Pro tees. And lots of elevation changes. The water there is pitch black, bring some waders..

Resting in the high plains of the Texas panhandle MacKenzie is playable virtually year round. It's "plains" location is deceptive in that the course has a multitude of elevation shots to include a high "deck" and "cliff" tee. Trees and The Brazos river (golden retrievers of little use) come into play throughout the course making MacKenzie very challenging at times. Pro and Am tee pads play to alternating basket locations gives the course a new feel throughout the year. Don't miss the Big Arms Tournament in August. If you find yourself near Lubbock don't pass MacKenzie up!

This course rocks! The layout of this course is awesome! Very difficult course, a fun challenge, with beatiful trees and plenty of water shots. I highly suggest you get a chance to play this one!

Mackenzie is a diamond in the rough in Lubbock. The West Plains of Texas are as flat as anywhere I've ever been with very few trees. But this course has a ton of elevation changes and a good amount of trees. There is a great community of disc golfer here that changes the basket placements every 6 weeks or so. This can be a very long course and a big arm can make a difference. Great all around course with an amazing group of people that take care of it. If you're passing through Lubbock this is a must play.

Beautiful course, plays well and gives a nice clean area to throw.
