Fun course, lots of trees, great views, hiking.
Its at Tahoe! how could it be better?

Great course with really fun holes. Feels like a mix of Zephyr and Turtle Rock. Really challenging pin locations on most of the holes with longer holes that play wooded to open and others that are reachable with elevation changes. Good tee boxes and great signs that show current pin location and position. Did like the locals said and started on hole 10, met up with some guys and shot with them after hole 12. Recommend this course if in the area, good shots and fun holes.

I got to play while down last week. Fun little course, not super challenging, but fun. I'd suggest that par be stated on each sign, as the was no idea what par was from hole to hole. Also, with so many different pin positions, having a magnet on the current pin position on the sign would be great. I scored a 4 on 18, while it was on the 1000'+ pin placement, and when I put it in on here, it called it a bogey. Obviously a par 5 at that distance. Just some thoughts.

A solid course with some great trees, good lines, some good walking/hiking and a few holes with views down to lake tahoe. I’d gladly play again. With more practice could definitey improve my score. Trash cans and tables on most holes. Seats/log benches on others. Great tee pads. A- for people on trails, waiting a bit, and proximity to other activities. Great baskets. A solid way to enjoy my birthday.

Pros: Great layout and use of the available space. A wide variety of available pin placements make each hole unique and challenging enough to punish bad shots and reward good shots.
Cons: They paid for nice professional signage on each tee pad but somehow failed to list the par of the hole! They also failed to include an indicator for the current pin placement which has pretty much become standard for all courses. Other oversights that caused me to rate it a C+ are the short tee pads and the old school gray baskets with no band which make them very difficult to see on wooded holes.
