Very fun, short course. Shot a 55 and then a 49 the next day. All concrete tees except 6 and 7. Loved 7 but needs a tee. Very scenic and well manicured course. Definitily play it again. Right off I-20.

New holes in the woods and longer distances give the course a serious boost! At the time Ben commented, there were only two holes in the woods. Now there are six holes in the woods, holes 3-8, including three tunnel shots. In total, trees are an obstacle on 11 holes. Here is how the holes play with official measurements:
Hole #1: 320' across top of a dam. Pin on top of dam. Slight water hazard risk. LOOK FOR NEW RUBBER TEE PAD FURTHER BACK THAN CONCRETE PAD.
Hole #2: 440' across side of da ...

I've played at a lot of courses in Alabama and this one is still my favorite by far. This course is hard to beat when it comes to scenery, and the serious elevation can definitely be challenging. The only problem I have with this course is that some of the wooded holes are too short and not too challenging. The course had changed a good bit in the past couple of years. It's definitely a place you need to stop and play in Alabama.

The best maintained course I’ve ever seen. Great view and mix of distance and technical holes.

Course has been completely updated with a new layout, new course map, and all new tee signs. Course has a total of 20 holes with two short ace run holes that offer players a short run for ace!
Awesome course located at Cahulga Creek Park in Heflin Alabama. One side of the course runs adjacent to the Heflin Watershed which offers spectacular views of the lake. First two holes are on top of an earthen Dam which offers very technical shots. Next 6 holes are located on a heavily wooded mountain ...

The course is a very hilly and very wooded. Over all the course is a great course if you like a challange. Just watch out for the ticks make sure you check your self when you get done.

Enjoyed the elevation and the view. The Tee Pads were pretty bad. The mountain holes were short but fairly challenging. The 1st two holes were cool being on the dam of the lake. It could use some updating but its disc golf and free so not sure who would update baskets or course.

Has some reall nice hill holes and some great scenery. Way to many wide open shots that are under 200 feer. There was at least 7 of them. The entire course is very short ecept for two holes. Bring some putters and work on your approch game but thats about it. This could be a really nice course with a redesign because the park is well taken care of.
