Great course with a lot of variety of shots. Long par 4's and technical par 3's. This year they laid new tee pads, so each hole now has 2 tees. They also added extra baskets to 9 or so holes. The course is also well maintained by the club, Kelly gets mowed pretty regularly. The only downsides to the course is that it is very flat and there are no bathrooms.

Kelly Park is my go-to course in the the Silicon Valley. It is very well maintained by SVDGC. There are bag trees at just about every Tee box. It always had good signage, but recently it has been upgraded to take it to an even higher level. The course has a good variety of hole types, from long and open to short and technical. The only thing it is lacking is any real elevation change. If you want to play a fun18 hole course in San Jose with plenty of parking and great variety, Kelly Park is the place to be!

I understand everyone rated this park mostly B lately , yes I recalled I played my first time on grand open day ! It was very difficult to find discs there were many trees , poison oaks , lost to next tees . As for now I go there almost 2x a week it is much better I mean the best landscaping to play and easy to see baskets and the tee off are awesome !! I recommend you all disc golfers to go n play there . Forgot to add there is no restroom !! But small store by right side on interstate when u enter Kelley park and I rated this park an A ...

With the recent floods, a lot of the debris and trash has been washed away and with the help of San Jose and SVDGC volunteers, the course/park is back to pristine conditions.
Kelley Park DGC offers almost everything a disc golfer could desire. Each tee has an all-weather rubber pad, informative sign and bag pole. Each hole has at least 3 positions and presents a different challenge with every throw. From natural obstacles to long open fairways, the 18 hole course will test your ability to pic ...

What a fun course! My favorite of the 3 courses available in San Jose.
Pros: Great signage, very welcoming starting area with practice basket and large trees. Bag holders at tee boxes, great tee-pads, awesome variety of long/short holes requiring diff shot selections. The baskets are switched around often offering nice variety. A number of deep long shots, Hole 3 is a par 4 at times at over 500ft.
Poison Oak: Watch for it around the back 9!
Cons: Parking fee. $100 ticket for not pa ...

Overgrown in areas. Advanced players won't have to much trouble keeping it in the fairway where the grass is shorter and mowed. Most holes require good shot accuracy. Overall good experience, keep eyes out for poison oak.

Geez, this course was kind of hard to believe. Beautiful tee boxes, great signage, and a "bag tree" at every hole. One hole had a broom. There were no overlapping fairways. This course is more recommended to experienced players, but this is disc golf, almost at its best. The reason I couldn't give it an A or A+ is that there is quite a bit of poison oak on the course, and a lot of bushes/trees to lose your discs in. Also, for golfers who like elevation shots, or downhill shots, in particul ...

Lots of upkeep and maintenance has taken place here. Boy Scouts did a bunch of work, thanks guys. The city has been sending in crews occasionally to trim trees, remove undergrowth, and haul away dead brush. It's getting better here. Thank you Jim Challas, your hard work and dedication is appreciated by myself and many others.

Holes 1-12 are great and would get a B+, but holes 13-18 are terrible. You can't see the baskets or have any indication of where the basket is from the T. The bushes are tall, dense and full of thorns. It is hard to set a search and rescue team for your disc when you can't even see the area where it lands. Lost two discs there last Sunday. I understand its a new course I and appreciate the work, but unless there is a plan to do a thorough deforestation in the near future (which I'd be willing to help), I would recommend stop playing at hole 12, and have a blast.

Newly Added course 2015. a lot hard work has gone into the course and it shows. It will only get better from here!!! Love the landscape 1-9, 10-12 are wide open that test your distance and 13-18 can be a pain. As more and more work days happen much of the PO will get cleaned up and this will be an amazing course! Glad to have another in SJ !!!

Great variety of shots. Multiple pin locations. Adequate signage.
There are still some spots of poison oak, and basket location markers would be a big improvement, but the course is new, so I'm sure those improvements will be made.
The parking fee is a definite detractor, but with a couple friends it's do-able. I prefer to ride my bike.
