The park will be getting new baskets for the course and expanding to 12 holes.
Looking for help this Saturday and Sunday April 9 and April 10 to clear some fairways. Let me know if you can help and show the park dept your thanks for the baskets. Saturday 9am meet up Sunday 10:30 meet up

Lost a bottom stamp 2021 DGLO purple/pink force on the right side of hole 5. Little short of the basket. Reward for return.

Lost my "Spider" disc (the one in my profile pic) yesterday behind hole 4. Almost aced it on that throw but it still seems to have disappeared off the planet. Really weird. Name and number on back. Hoping somebody finds it.

Course is opening up but the park is requesting social distancing and NO mob golf. Limit yourselves to no more than 4 per card please. Township offices, DPW, EMS and fire departments are literally right there and can easily see if people are not following the safety rules. Please don’t blow it for everyone

FYI- Ira Township Park is closed. There is a sign posted by tee box #1 and baskets are taped up/covered with garbage bags.

Course really needs some kind of sign pointing to where hole 7 is located. Its really hard to find for a player new to the course. Also the teepads are really dangerous having the piece of wood up 6 inches at the end of the pad. Hoping this place can get concrete teepads soon.

Long tee on Hole 1 and Hole 6 can trap Anhyzer drives fairly easily with the right hand. Poison Sumac present off of Hole 6 as of last August. Other than than, really swell course. Last three holes are pretty neat.

Traveling league tonight at Ira twp DGC and east china DGC tee off at 5pm please try to be there by 445. $10 all in 5 to course 5 to ace pool which is at $238 (50% cap if you haven't played donnys on Fridays b4 since the ace pool carried over from there) playing singles not dubs

Found 2 discs. One from ditch on right side of 1. The second was on right side of 6. Name them and the color and i will return them. No name or number was on discs.

Maintenance and some of the sign improvements, tree removal on 3 (to make it a little more possible without Tomahawking) have been great in the past month or so. Great to see and hope for more to follow.

As course curator ill put it like this I do plan on putting up a sign soon. Every tee sign has a complete course map and also u can get the u disc app for 5 bucks a year it also has maps of most courses here being one. I do plan on removing the woof from the tops of the tee pads bit as far as concrete its in the plans but we have to fundraise for everything like that. Parks and rec can only pay for so much. We have a league that rotates between here east China and Mill creek(private course) also have a three course throw down on memorial day at those 3 courses to raise money. So feel free to come on out to help us out.
