We played the Kentucky State Championships today at Idlewild. It rained off and on in the morning but was in the 60s and not too windy. On the lunch hour the course was hit by severe weather, including torrential rain and a tornado warning. It rained so hard several fairways became unplayably flooded. The TD had to cancel the second round.
After the awards Kelsey wanted to go back to film some of the flooding. I wanted to play around being one of those stupid TV announcers standing in ...

Making a trip out here on Sunday and was wondering if anyone knows if the course is still open or closed for the season. Thanks.
