Very short wooded holes and moderately long open holes. Hopefully last summer’s fundraiser money will be used for cement pads and course expansion to a middle/HS school friendly18 holes.

Pros: The course plays around the perimeter of a middle school's athletic fields. 5 of the holes play mostly out in the open, though most of them bring some thick rough into play on the left side (the course plays clockwise). 3 holes play through thick woods with shorter technical shots. The final hole plays through more mature trees with the school on one side and rough on the other. This makes for a decent variety, especially with a few of the pins tucked nicely into the edge of the rough. ...

Probably the best course I've ever played. It has every dynamic you need. Water hazards, trees, long and short holes, chances for hole in ones. This course is easy to follow, each hole is marked clearly, and it's very spread out. No other holes criss cross each other like most courses. It is only 9 holes, but I'd take a great 9 hole course then a shitty 18 hole course where you are stepping over other golfers. I give this course a perfect score.

Extreme variety. Four short putter shot holes (1, 2, 6, 7). Three holes over 400' (3, 4, 9). Seems like hole 2 has been moved. Sign says it is 204' but it's actually about 70-80'. Tees are rutted dirt spots. Tee signs are ok. Innova baskets are rusted. Overall a fun course. Not a destination course, but a good one to "bag" along with a couple other reasonably nearby courses.

I am new to the game and this is a nice course to start to learn how to play without a lot of traffic from other players

Nice small course. I get a little creative when no ones playing and play the course backwards. FYI this course borders a middle school so u cant play during class hours. Parking is behind the school.

Easy for a beginner, the over growth and piles of leafs is a bit annoying on some holes.

This is my home course. It is easy to get to, and it is challenging enough to have a fun game. HW is located on the edges of Holland Woods Middle School, which is both good and bad. Good in that the fairways are very well maintained, but bad in that since it is on school property, the course is closed during school hours when in session.

The baskets are Innova, the launches are natural, and there is poison ivy. Bug spray is helpful, and remember that on Hole 4 you are throwing next to the canal and need to play accordingly. The local players are friendly and games are open.

This course is pretty straight forward. Long, straight fairways with tons of room for error, great for beginners.

Nothing particularly exciting about this park. Port Huron is pretty desolate when it comes to courses so it will do to just get out and throw.

Has a few challenges, and will keep your interest. Some longer throws needed. Crazy dog-leg hyzer shots needed, that are wickedly fun. Also a great place to work on those distance throws in the middle of the course. Nice course no matter what.

Nice smaller course. Perfect to get out when do don’t have time to commit to an entire day. Nice variety of shots.

Not bad for a small quick 9 hole course. Not very many forehand shots though. The woods holes could be a little deeper. No pads, no navigation although it is pretty easy to figure out. Decent stop if you're in the area I guess, wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Not a bad layout at all. Made for some interesting shots. Hole 9 around the building is definitely not a favorite though.
