Other Thoughts: Even though the plot of land is small the designer of this course did a good job putting in 9 holes, but it doesn't force you to use an arsenal of shots. I would bring a new player or a child to this course to teach them about DG. Little chance that anyone would bother you. All the shots are under 250'. The neighborhood is very nice, very safe. The only hole you really need to control you throw is on #5 as the basket is placed with in 10 feet of a parking lot for near by town homes. It's also a short play with only 9 holes, but this can be combined with Harry Dunham and Chimney Rock to make a decent 27 hole run.

I really like Greenwood Meadows DGC for a few reasons that I'll describe. First off it's in a beautiful neighborhood. The course is clean and well manicured. This is a great course for beginners. The holes are short and straight which will give even newest players a chance to par which will help make it fun.New players often get frustrated on tough courses which cause them to quit. So for that reason I like this course. It's a confidence builder. I've heard it said that this isn't a challenge for experienced players so it's not really fun. I disagree with this. Although it's less challenging it gives the high level player a chance to Eagle and possibly even net a Hole in One on every hole. Who wouldn't love to throw an Ace? I think that keeps it fun for a well seasoned player. Now the course is laid out well considering the small space of the park. The course flows from one hole to another. Holes 1-6 are on level ground. Holes 7-9 have semi steep hills to climb up and down. This makes this course ideal for players who may be out of shape. The baskets are Disc Catchers by Innova. They are in good shape until the 9th hole which has had the basket section damaged.(see the photos) There are many tee box signs that are missing so you will have to look for the worn areas in the grass to figure out where the next tee is. It is a good idea to download the course map photo to your phone to help you find the area where the tee box should be. Now the 2nd hole basket sits in deep center field of the baseball diamond, so watch for flyballs and outfielders. Certain holes run along side of the roads so be careful with those holes. There isn't a permanent bathroom there but there is a porta potty at the end of the parking lot between the basket ball and tennis courts.The porta potty was extremely clean and handicap accessible. The course/park wasn't that crowded so it is a great place to grab your putter and go to a basket and just practice your approach and putting. I uploaded photos of every hole with detailed notes. The course isn't perfect, but I think you'll enjoy it.
