Long holes with a few obstacles. Right next to a pond. Very well maintained.

The course was in good condition for early spring. Had some wet spots from heavy rain this past week.

First 9 holes are easy nice and open. Back 9 holes are hard to find and easy to loose disks. With a couple very long par 3.

If they kept it up at all it would move up to a b or a b plus, it is in horrible shape, very hard to find t's, hard to walk between t's, it's in the worst shape of any course I've played in Iowa and I've probably played 20...

This is definitely not a beginner course, as it was co-designed by a world champion. The front 9 has a lot of elevation play and just enough trees to not be a wooded front 9 but forces some advanced shot shaping toe really attack the course. The back 9 is a completely different story, requiring some huge forhand and backhand distance and smart navigation of tight fairways. The only thing keeping the score from being perfect is that it can be difficult to find the next hole on one's first playthrough and some matinance issues on a few of the holes but overall an incredibly fun course to play.
