love the course but the lack of tee signs confuse us, the out of state players.

with new addition tees, love the course but like I said before, lack of tee signs which will cause confusion for those out of state players.

Good course. Has some open shots and more technical lies. Kinda hard to navigate due to lack of signage and so many pads and pins all over the place.

Great course with lots of options. Very crowded, lots of dogs running around. Good to play if you have lots of time.

This was my first time playing this course and the signage could have been a little better but you are able to find your way around.

WOW. The BIGNESS of this place is AWESOME. I only played the AM course today because I had a group show up that KNEW the course, so I just followed them. Confusing without a Guide. BUT, this course was FUN. Lots of Elevation changes, good use of trees and pin placements. Overall. just a FUN course. I can't wait to get back to play one of the other layouts.

The signage was a total JOKE! 1 tee pad 3 different ways to play it, 1, 2 or 3 different pins for each hole. Too much info trying to relayed on 1 sign makes it confusing to say the least. Lots of signs missing or vandalized.

Better signage on this side, but you had still better link up with a local to find your way.

Just plain FUN. Elevation, LOTS of trees, Longer holes, awesome. Wind gusts up on 13 and 14 just mess with you and push you out of the narrow fairways. GREAT Course.

Could be an awesome course with maps, better tee signs, and removal of some extra baskets.
+2 votes josh pierce › Southeast Course › September 27, 2011
Good elevation changes needs better signage and extra baskets taken out

Absolutely awesome course. The course had little hints of just about every good course I play back home in Oregon.

Another awesome course. Combined with the NW course, these courses offer the ultimate disc golf experience!

has a lot of potential but was very confusing, thanks to the local GI for showing us the way..., also very dirty, pick up your trash!!!

this course is ok a lot of the holes need maintenance the layout is very difficult to follow there are multiple baskets that are no longer in use and there is trash everywhere no bathrooms only a couple of garbage cans no water source that all being said if there was a club in the area that would step up this course and property has more potential than any other disc golf course I've ever seen unfortunately all the hype about this course is just that hype I hope some group steps up

Weather 52 sunny, course in good shape with nice crowd enjoying a great day on the Fort.

Huge course! They put in new signs so its easier to find your way. A combination of both long and technical shots.

This course just went through a big change and we added many new holes in the layout. All hole have tee signs and the same baskets. this course plays through woods and can be difficult at times. some good elevation and tight holes make for a great layout.

this course has new tee signs and all baskets are the same. took some time but what a sick course that plays through an old oak grove with some elevation changes and tight OB in some places. This course is for sure a travel destination. mowed in early june

Love the variety of terrain, elevations and foliage challenges on this track.

Awesome course. There signs are mostly still there. This course in comparison to the SE course is way better. Tight drives, technical shots through the woods and hole 11! awesome. Great hike too. could use some garbage cans and a porta-john, but overall a reall sweet place to play.

Nice open course. Some long holes. Some shots are fun others are just boring long runs. Would be better if there navigational markers were better. There are some signs but it is still confusing at some points. This course has holes that are for big arm players.

If this is "Rays Nine" then yes it is an excellent course. good warm up course for the main event, the NW course.

Great track and if you haven't been lately you'll surely appreciate all the hard work that's been put into the course by the guys at PCDGA who have been very committed in improving much of the course overgrowth. Thousands of square feet of berry bushes and other scrub have been removed really making the area at SE much more accessible and easier to manage. Benoches have been repaired or posts replaced...Thanks guys! This is a course where you can let the arm go and enjoy some long pin placements and still enjoy technical attributes.

I have not played a ton of courses, but of the ones I have plaed this is by far my favorite. Some very technical holes and some wide open bomber ones. Perfect mix. The scenery is awesome, tall fir trees throughout. The signage is very good, although hole 12's sign is no longer there. Great layout and super easy to navigate. They have put up bright pink arrows on the baskets to point you in the right direction, although some have fallen down (I will try and take zipties with me next round to fix ...

Fun course! Mark Kilmer helped us get through the courses and played a round with us. He was really helpful and the courses were in great shape! Some of the holes are challenging but the brush is beat down, so no need to worry about losing discs

Hole #11 was Amazing! But Hole #12 Looks pretty intimidating due to it being so narrow but it being a Par 4 helps a little. Just threw a laser down the middle, then tamahawked it for my up shot, for an easy birdie.

Natigation is very spotty. Guaranteed to be confused at least once if you've never played before.

Amazing course. It reminds me of a bunch of Oregon courses all thrown into one. Great navigation and pretty good baskets! By far my favorite on site course!

What a great course. Well designed with a great mix of challenges. I loved the holes that weaved through the mature forest with large trees. Also, a great mix of long and short holes. Home of the Fort Steilacoom Open.

Course is incredible. Instantly one of my all time favorites now.

Not a fan of the course but for my own selfish reasons. Just not my kind of golf. Great course for the most part.
