Longer course with rolling hills and creeks bisecting the fairways. Very scenic and pretty course - a few holes play along the river, and the encampment is there. You will need to throw just about every shot type you can think of, and maybe even make up a few. Goes well with the Paducah course just across the river. Stop and play them both!

Beautiful course in the oldest state park in Illinois. Very well maintained property with mature oaks, cottonwoods, some 200 years old. The grass is cut regularly leaving very little ground cover. Picnic tables and trash cans at all tees. The course is simple with course map at hole 1. Concrete tees are flush to ground and level (5'X12') Innova Discatcher Pro 28 baskets. Great coarse. Plenty of opportunity to throw your longer discs. Well designed, good use of landscape and trees. My favorite aspect of this coarse is that most holes give you a defined path, but you will need to hit your line. Trees in play on most hole, however rarely are you in the woods. The only knock on this coarse, is there are several holes where the walk to the next tee box is long, good signage to point you in the right direction, but flow is somewhat choppy. All considered, I really enjoy this coarse and will make it a point to stop and play again.

This is a great course. It has some long holes for the big arms and some shorties for the guys who can't blast a drive. Lots of trees to deal with and a good workout as the holes are spread out.
It is a great set up, challenging for all skill levels.
It needs some signs to direct the player from hole to hole and the concrete tee pads are not poured yet, but since the baskets are only a week old, it is a nice course with a lot of upside!
