Nate there any leagues or doubles rounds scheduled here on Saturday? Planning a round tomorrow but don’t want to show up with any scheduled rounds going on. TY

Not any that I'm aware of. League at Old Farm, tournament at Fallasburg and maybe BYOP tournament at Yankee Springs. I give it a 99.9% chance it's open for casual rounds

Bradley Feagans    May 9, 2018 at 11:53pm

Found yellow disc on hole 10's rough. Name it and it's yours.

A celebration of life for "Tes" Strickland (PDGA # 4430) is being held at Earl Brewer Park starting at 4PM tomorrow. Tes was a long time GRDoD member who actively participated in helping to grow the sport. Everyone who knew him is welcome to attend.

Just want to let my fellow disc chuckers know that tomorrow is the GRDOD league party. This means Brewer Park has been reserved by the club and will be closed for casual play from daylight till at least 3pm. Please share this information and tell everyone you talk to that might be planning on going out there about the party. Signs will be posted in the entrance road and such but this really helps a lot too.

Course improvements are happening still. Tee pad smoothing and fairway trimming are coming along. Don't forget to say thanks when you see people who are donating their time for everyone's benefit. Also, try to keep the trash with you when you leave.

CURIOUS: How have you scored on the new !8? Also give your PDGA rating if you can. Remember- The par for this course will eventually be set well above 54. The days when we think of success in discgolf as so many point below a par 54 are long gone. Tee shot, fareway drive, approach and putt will be a regular part of our game at Brewer from now on. Some of us will need to get out of the habit of saying "par" when we score a 3 on a hole. There is no shame saying 4 or 5 when we par some of our new holes. Its all relative, so let's revel in the new.
