Cowan Lake State Park

Pleasantly surprised, fun course. It plays better 2nd go around, not as timid with the drives. Long par 5 uphill and somewhat narrow is the highlight hole. Cute girl sunbathing made the trip memorable.

This course is tough if you r a righty and don’t throw forehand. Mostly wooded w heavy elevation changes that make the baskets appear longer than on the signage. Good signage & next tee markers.
Hole #3 was Phil’s favorite hole. It’s a righty forehand hole. We both hit 3 birdies. Few open holes outside the woods. We lost a Tee Bird 3 (green). Phil’s ranking will be higher than mine.

Heavily wooded course with very good teepads and even better signage. Easy to follow the flow of the course. Tough but plenty of scoring opportunities.
