Phenomenal course from the longs, with a lot of cool design features you dont get with your average course. The course is brand new, but because of the amount of work that has been put in it is playing much more mature than it actually is. The only thing you have to look out for ar the stumps that sprout up seemingly out of nowhere. Walk with a watchful eye and you should have a great time on the course.

Supposedly the top ranked course in Alabama. It's not for me. There are some really cool holes. The first 5 are quite unique with a few man-made obstacles. There's one hole later on off a hill with a really fun toss. The wooded holes need some maintenance. There are still a lot of wood laying around. All in all, a fun course to play.

This Course was not Designed to be the hardest or easiest, but to be enjoyable for every skill level. It's designed for you to be able to throw different setups each time you play, so mix it up and work different parts of your game. You'll use every shot in your bag, long, short, open, wooded, left, right, uphill, downhill. The Fairways are fair and if your inside of 30' you've got a putting chance. There's a bulletin board with a large map and map handouts. A Driving range at hole one with orange marke ...

Solid course. Very long. First hole is wide open and around 700 feet with long drive markers in the ground. Some fun man made obstacles are on a couple holes where you must throw between or over the top. About half of the course is in the woods along the side of a ridge with great scenery.

Pretty unique course, good mix of open and wooded holes. LOTS of elevation changes, it is quiet a hike and a strenuous workout. The bamboo forts on the front nine are unique and fun. Never seen more than a couple of people on the course, very light traffic.

Great course with both long open holes and tough wooded shots.

Hard to find much wrong with this course. It is well structured, has good signage, nice new equipment, multiple tees/pins. Diverse Terrain. As others have said though watch out for those small stumps!!

Clay is an amazing course. The best in the state of Alabama and south east. A must play. Great for beginners or advanced players. Out right awesome

The first hole is pretty daunting as is the 19th, if you are playing the driveway as out of bounds.
It is a beautiful course with a scenic hike for holes 6 - 18.
The fairways are open and nice.

I love this course! it was an absolutely amazing experience to play, I admired the bamboo in front of some the baskets, REALLY LOW TRAFFIC. very few people even know about it, Id go back time and time again! This is probably my favorite course in North/Mid Alabama.

Extremely long course, that is tiring just walking it. 21 holes. You start off on flat terrain, with some fun man made obstacles before ascending essentially a small mountain. From there you play in the woods along its crest before descending in a single shot down the other side. You then wrap back around to where you started with a few more open, quirky holes. Overall it is enjoyable for the variety of holes and distinct "sections" of the course. 3 types of disc golf in 1 course.

The layout was very nice...It could use some maintenance but not sure who is responsible and what money they get. I had some good looks at aces and overall would recommend atleast once to play. We are new so I'm not going to throw off on a very enjoyable hobby. We are trying to play as many courses as possible and have enjoyed all of them.

One of the top courses in Alabama.
PROS:
+ SKILL LEVEL FRIENDLY + Unlike Inverness, Clay appears to be very approachable for most recreation players. The red tees appear to be true reds (Recreation level). In addition, the back (blue) tees appear to be challenging enough for advanced level play. This is great for an intermediate level player like me, where I can choose between running for aces or taking a beating.
+ CHALLENGING + The back tee and back basket combo will no doubt challeng ...

Fun course to play, but quite a hike. Just not for me. There are some very unique holes, with fun obstacles. Most of the course is a hike through the woods along a ridge, and the terrain can be very difficult. Scenic views of the park and surrounding hillsides abound. Will play it again, but not go out of my way to get there given all of the other great courses in Alabama. Not sure how this stays top rated.
