Very good course. Very open but with holes that make good use of the few trees scattered around the area. The only drawback is the constant risk of losing a disc in the water. Too many water hazards in my opinion, but other than that I don't have any complaints. There are at least 2 tees for each hole and the long tees are very difficult. The location is very scenic since its in the famous city park in New Orleans, which has lots to see and do. Some tees are natural but I prefer that so its not a drawback for me.

Lots of water and bugs My shoes got soaked. I always enjoy playing new courses. I bet this course is even better when dry.

Holes 14-16 are cool, but the rest are just open field shots. I don't understand how this course can possibly be the best course in LA.

Course was in great shape, signage was the best if ever seen. over all one of my favs. How this is only ranked #354 in the USA is beyond me,

Very well laid out course for what the park naturally provided. Recently they have planted over 100 new trees that will create tunnels and further obstacles. Hole 9 has a very intriguing new design - it is a short 200' straight hole - but now with trellis like structure that requires a mandatory entry through a 'doorway' (see my pictures for a better idea). This structure appears to be designed to eventually have an ivy or some other kind of organic growth. Can't wait to get back and play. Within a few years this will be a solid A- course.

Great course. Large variety of shots. Mando on hole 4, and triple mando barn door on 9. Grass tends to be kinda long during the rainy season (may-august) because of the course holding water after significant rain. A must shoot in New Orleans area. Huge, majestic hundred year old oak trees. Truly a fun experience.

I really enjoy this course. Mostly well kept, the park slacks on keeping grass short during summer. NOTeam is making some really nice improvement to certain holes by fixing tee boxes and clearing brush.

Course plays in a fairly open field with trees scattered about. There is a decent variety of holes with most requiring a substantial distance to be had off the tee to have a chance a birdie. As it's in New Orleans, if it recently rained expect mud.
