On the grounds of the Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center's Uptown Campus in Augusta, Georgia, is a (currently under construction) 36-hole disc golf course designed for Veterans, their families, visitors, and VA employees. This course features both a 9-hole, fully wheelchair-accessible layout around the front of the main hospital building, as well as a 27-hole Blue/Intermediate challenge layout around the entire property perimeter. With a nice variety of distances, pars, and skill-levels to navigate, this course will put the finesse and talents of players to the test! The VAMC campus is well maintained, with many benches, picnic tables, trash cans, restrooms, softball fields, gardens, and both paved and grass walking paths. The entire campus grounds are mostly illuminated, for play into the evening, and the landscaping is very well maintained for ease of access and safety. less
