Living in Bowling Green, this was a great course to learn to play on. There are many wide open holes to test out any type of throw that you want to learn/develop, that are long enough to still slighty challenge advance players. There is a small mix of more technical short holes, but they have been recently opened up due to storms. Overall, great casual course, just ignore the pars that are set for each hole, they are nonsense.

Home of the windy city. Wind can be your worst enemy so take appropriate routes and watch all of the dives your disc will take in its flight to the basket. This course is very well maintained and wide open for the most part with narrow and wooded holes. The Tee boxes are amazing, flat and wide with distance of each hole posted. Get out the Big D for many of the longer holes to separate the men from the boys. Be sure to watch your disc when throwing around trees since these fruit trees will swallow them whole.

Carter Park has been on my radar for a while now so I was very pleased to finally make the half hour drive from my in-laws house and visit one of the older courses in the area. An extremely windy day added complexity to what could normally be a low scoring birdie fest of a course. Course layout appears to be dated with mostly short distance holes that are fairly straight forward. It does start out and finish with some greater distances, but most of the longer holes are wide open. Terrain is flat ...

Wide open course except for 6-10 (short fruit tree). The wind can be brutal but it offers an escape from the mosquitoes.

The course is WIDE open, which is nice for a few holes, but overall makes this way to easy of a course. The wind is the only "challenge" for this course. As for the tee boxes, they are in nice condition, but the graph at each box doesn't clearly differentiate which of the 3+ visible baskets is the hole you are aiming for. The cages all have the numbers worn off as well which makes it harder to decipher.
Overall, I'd say its a promising course if they start putting more effort into adding challenges. Add trees, add water, add some fun.

Not much shade at all until the back nine and then there is little shade to be had. most holes are wide open, the tree littered ones require more precision shots and different thinking in your flight paths. most holes are spot on with their pars but hole fourteen seems like it should be a par three or four for players like john ryan and I. Nah I see exactly why it is a par 5. trees and the distance can make trouble for some players.

Nice course! One of my favorites, you can really bomb some drives!

Much like majority of courses in the area, a perfect round is a feasible goal. The course doesn't offer much of any elevation change, however, there are some well placed trees and wind is always a major factor.

Good course to get burnt on. Lol. No, front 9 is pretty open not a lot of shade. Back 9 gives you more shade. Trees are littered through out the course which requires you to have more than one shot or be pretty accurate. Hole 14 is a very short par 5, don't know who came up with that. But all in all a good course, gets busy.

Many short holes, should be a birdie fest for most. Very few holes 400 feet or more. Disregard the pars on the signs, they should be all par threes. Navigation is non existent, easy to shoot at the wrong basket. This course could be dangerous when busy as several baskets are located right next to tee pads or other baskets. I had fun second time around once I knew which direction to throw. Great place for beginners to learn no water and only a few trees in the way. Mostly wide open!!!!! Teepads ...

Mostly wide open course with lots of wind. Concrete tees have a tripping hazard at the front of them, but this doesn't bother me. The trees are short and easy to throw over but love to catch discs and not let go. The holes should all be par 3's, but you will see many 4's and a 5. Overall, it's worth a trip.

With the trees at some of the holes, really makes you think about what disc to throw and proper shot placement.

Second course I ever played and my favorite. Played on this course all through college years 2001-05. Starts totally open then morphs into an area with sparse crabapple trees that get denser then it opens back up and morphs into another different wooded area. Perfect starter course to learn on. No water hazards from my memory. Maybe after a heavy rain.

well maintained and very clean. nothing to really challenge the higher level golfer. Some of the holes play into each other slightly, can be a little dangerous and confusing. Looks like it can get fairly ho hum after a while, but could be spiced up with safari rounds.

This course is horrible and has nothing to offer any golfer, except concrete tee pads and mach III baskets. Fail.
