Aspen Meadows East is long and challenging. With some tight fairways and tight lines and lots of trouble if you miss the fairway, par is a good round on this course. You need to get your birdies when you can and avoid bogeying on the harder holes. Some of the holes it's good to have a spotter.

Very good course, Been tweaked through the years to incorporate elevation trees distance and very technical shots. Private so need permission to play but free(donations welcome) First time played used a spotter on EVERY hole as it is very easy to lose a disc. Inova baskets dirt tees

Pros:
Beautiful course
Great layout and flow
Lots of shots needed here, long, short, technical, elevation, left/right
Cons:
Uneven ground for tee off
Spotter recommend for most holes
Alot of work has gone into this course the past couple years and it's a fun challenge to play. Par is a good round here for sure. Use spotters, lots of opportunities for lost discs here. This course requires a lot of thought about what and how you should throw, course management is key for a good round.

Aspen Meadows West has a nice mix of tight technical wooded holes and wide open windy holes. The front 9 is short and technical but there are a lot of birdie holes whereas the back 9 is long and open and is a lot more about shot placement. The signature hole is #12, a 1200 foot par 5 with a mando tree off the tee. If you place your shots well, a 4 is doable but a 6 isn't too far away either.

Front nine shorter and more technical back is more open, longer and usually windier,
Can open up and throw on the par 4 18 and the par 5 #12 (1200') but still need accuracy
Downsides would be no signage, dirt tees,

Pros:
Huge verity of shots needed
Distinct differences between front and back 9
Beautiful course
Good layout and flow
Cons:
Uneven ground for tee off
The first half of this course is very tight, if you don't hit the fairway you are almost certain to be taking a stroke, the trees here are tight and a line out is often hard to find. There is alot of risk vs reward shots aswell, especially when you are trying to scramble back from a bad hole. The back half is more open and forgiving, you h ...

More tight than open shots, challenges your placement and course management, great layout with both amateur and pro concrete tee-pads, another top class course

Love west side at Aspen Meadows. Treed technical holes for a good portion then a chance to let er rip for a bit on open holes. Nice balance, making for a fun round on a beautiful course.
