This a well designed short and well maintained semi technical wooded park course with elevation changes on most holes. Plenty of long leaf pines. One hole has a sand fairway. This course is really fun to play.

The course achieves its goal; a par-3 beginner course. Good elevation changes, nifty use of alternate pins, well maintained, fun lines, all-around solid course to go rip a quick round or bring the family.

Hate giving Arrowhead a C+, but it's bush-league compared to Castle Hayne. It's fairly short so t's a very decent course -- perfect for a lunchtime break away from the office -- but it's VERY wooded and there's only one or two holes that really allow you to open up and let 'er rip. The foliage makes it challenging, but can also make it extremely frustrating. It's well maintained though and, despite being so close to the coast, has decent elevation changes on a couple holes. All in all it's not a bad course if you're Jonesin' for a game.....it's definitely worth checking out.

This is a fun par 3 course challenging with some close very aceable holes 6 , 8 and 17 not so much. Native long leaf pine trees are on every hole and some of them make for a few very tight fairways that have more than one approach off the tee. Excellent use of the elevation number 4,6,7,9 and 10 have forty to fifty feet of elevation change several others have 7 to 15 feet. A few open up off the tee number 14 into a wide open grassy area that needs to turn left toward the basket. 16 wide o ...

Great course for a mid-range only casual round. Room to lengthen and improve several holes, along with improving safety factors, that would make this a much better course and still remain extremely beginner friendly.

Its a short technical course in a smaller park. Lots of basket locations for each tee make it a different each month, which helps with the lack of distance as many holes require different shots depending on basket location. Easy to play 18 in 50 mins or less and front 9 can be done in about 20 mins.

Fun short course . Really the only course in the area with any elevation. Technical holes and lots of runnable ace shots. Local club changes out basket locations frequently to keep you on your toes. Lots of sand. Located in a great neighborhood park.

This is a very complex course given how tight the 18 holes are woven into coastal woodlands terrain. This course is not for the long drivers, precision and accuracy are key far more than distance.
