The name says it all. I think every hole on this course has been "Aced." If you are not able to ace, it's "Birdie or Die." Make your putts or loose is what that means. Nice and tight fairways that will make you hit your lines or you will be scrambling for a PAR from the ruff. The ruff is manageable since the holes are all 160'- ~300' at most. Unless it is the summer...when the mosquitoes, spider webs, and the possible random reptile encounter might occur which could taint your disc golfing experience.
Nice mixture of shots, but you will not need your high speed drivers.
Ace Run is perfect for player to work on their Mid-range or putters off the tee.
Every hole has concrete tee pads and Innova DisCatcher Pro Baskets.
Some holes from the Original layout have Gold/Pro tees and/or alternate pin locations. But not all holes on Ace Run have those permanent options. That would be the only improvement I would suggest to the layout.
Besides that, Ace Run is a very fun yet challenging course. Nice warm up 18 for the pain that is about to come with Duzee.

But you will need your distance driver for a few of these holes. Same mentality needed, "Birdie or Die." Make your putts or have a difficult round trying to maintain a respectable score. DuZee is definitely the more advanced course out of the 2. It requires some shots with pin point accuracy and the right amount of touch off the tee.
All holes have concrete tee pads. Majority of the holes have Innova DisCatcher Pro's. The rest are DGA Mach (?).
All holes on DuZee have a Gold/Pro tee location. The DuZee Gold layout will test your mental stability as well as your games' ability. Very challenging layout that either extends the original/intended fairway line or completely changes it. From time to time, the Gold tee's are cleared out to locate and play with ease.
The only things I would suggest to improve the course would be to have the same baskets on each hole. One day...but in the mean time all the current baskets are in working condition.
The other thing would be to add an alternate hole location for each hole. Not a huge change to the current layout but it could give the course some new looks on the same holes.
I gave DuZee a sightly higher rating because it has Gold/Pro tee locations for all 18 holes, the few holes that you need a distance driver on, and it has the most recognizable hole location at the park. Hole 9.
With that said, I love Acadiana Park's disc golf courses. So much so that I would proudly claim that these are my HOME courses.
I would definitely recommend anybody who is in the area to stop by and play all 36 holes. Should take an experienced player about 3 hours to do so.
