Thanks for the info Allen. Sorry I didn't make the Ice Bowl but hope it went well. Do any of the clubs here or any of the vendors like Discraft or Innova ever put on any clinics down here?

Hey Mark - I don't know 4S Ranch very well, but two places come to mind that are not too far away: Rancho Bernardo Sports Park (I think that's the name), which is right off the 15 freeway - you can see it from the freeway, just to the west, south of Lake Hodges; and Kit Carson Park, which is in Escondido just east of the Westfield North County Mall on Via Rancho Parkway. Both of these parks have large, flat, open fields where you could practice drives. Kit Carson will also have a ne ... more

Hi Everyone,

I'm a transplant from NorCal(Lake Tahoe) who hasn't played DG in about 2.5 years but want to start playing again. My question is do any of you know any good places to practice drives. The closer to 4S Ranch the better. I'd like to work on better mastering the game than I did in Tahoe. I've got 5 disks but I never really tried to master the aspects of each one as I'd like to do now.
