Hey Everyone, I am back looking for disc donations for Kenai Middle School's disc golf Mini-Courses happening May 16th and 17th. Every year, about 30-40 students enjoy the last days of school discing with me. Each kid leaves with at least one disc. We also play games where they can win more. Please look through your stash to see if anything can be sent our way. You can drop off at Kenai Middle School, under my name or text me at 715-370-0482 to arrange a drop off. Thank you to all of you who have donated plastic and prizes in the past!

I just got the final run of Greg "Silk" Roberts Memorial discs and wanted to make sure everyone who knew him gets a chance to own one if they'd like. I have Harps and Truths still available. All proceeds go to a memorial for the big dude. $15 each. Drop me a text at 907.315.2343 if you want one.

This could be the last winter before disc golf takes its first step into the mainstream. There's been a couple of ESPN ace highlights in the past year. I'm in Kenai for the week and want to play the local courses. Anybody wanna play? I'm interested in playing the nikiski course if it's playable, and sky view as well. Gonna head to the eagle today around 5ish. Any tips for nikiski? I read about lots of tall grass??

Last week there was a flyer on the tee 1 bench saying that there would be league play at 11am Saturday the 26th. I couldn't make it but wondered if that was going to be a weekly thing???

Disc golf continues to grow exponentially but under the mainstream radar… This lifestyle sport has everything to do with landscape design, culture and leisure recreation for an increasingly urban world… Anyone interested in this subject should check out this 2013 Landscape Architecture Masters thesis from Cal Poly Pomona: Disc Golf Course Design: Inscribing Lifestyle into Underutilized Landscapes, for the short, cold months ahead:

I'm an old guy who's new to disc golf but having a ball at it with the family. Is there going to be any league stuff here in Kenai/Soldotna this year? Are there any more tournaments? I am no where near having the skills to compete but would enjoy watching & maybe helping out.
