Safe to assume this club no longer exists?

Jerry, if I'm not mistaken, the Birch Hill Bangers was the Fairbanks Disc Golf Association's original club name. I've seen tournaments posted under the FDGA's page. Hope this helps.

Great job this weekend fellas! Minus the weather, everything was perfect. I hope you'll have a couple sanctioned events next year. Keep it up and we'll keep showing up!

Is there going to be a doubles game on the Friday before the tourney? If so, what time?

I would also like to know more info on the tourney so I can make plans for it.

Hey fellas. I've had a few calls now asking about the format for the tourney coming up later this month. Can someone please let us know what the format will be so we can better plan our trips? Some are flying so it'll be really helpful for them. I'll be driving so I'm a little more flexible. Also, if there's a flyer, please e-mail it to me so we can post it on our site. The sooner the better. I'm looking forward to it!

Hey guys,
Disc golf is going to be included in this years Senior Games.I've volunteered to help the coordinator and will be looking for some help in July and August. The opening ceremonies are in late July at Birch and they want to have a introductory event for dg where seniors can learn about the sport and play a couple of holes and then the competition will be in August at UAF. Not sure what it all involves but will keep you posted.Cant wait till the snow melts. jtr

I know it isn't DG season, but...... I have never played up in Fairbanks,
Is there a chance there may be a tourney up north next year??

We're going to host a Discraft Ace Race this fall. It's a cool non-tournament event designed to be played by experienced and new players alike. The event registration fee will be under $30, and includes two discs and a bunch of other goodies.

If you're interested, head over to the Fairbanks Disc Golf group on Facebook and let us when works best and if we can count you in.
