2023 Charlotte Roar| Gage Stiles, Andy Wiler, Steven Jacobs, Alex Ziros| Lead Card| RD2 F9| By GMT
This is it!! About one month ago we ran our first tourney and crowned our first set of champions for the inaugural Charlotte Roar event. 38 MPO players battled some amazing conditions at Angry Beaver, and these 4 came out on top, creating a strong Lead Card and some exciting fun action from Scrapyard DGC, a clear favorite for many in the Queen City.
We've been waiting to host our own tourney forever and couldn't be more excited to share the stage highlighting two of the most diverse and fun courses from world's #1 discgolf destination, Charlotte NC! We also added well over $2500 Added Cash to this tourney to make it a life changing event with prize winnings better than your average A tiers, and give something for the pros to look forward to next year!
Scrapyard starts nice and gentle but packs quite the punch middle of the round till the end. Starring Gage Stiles, who has a 3 stroke lead, shooting a -6 and shot a 1040+ round at Angry (Course Record), Andy Wiler who has one of the most eclectic bags GMT's ever seen, throwing all Lone Star Discs, Steven Jacobs who is a former AM World Champion, and our Co Commentary Host Alex Ziros, who shot a -3 first round.
