YFC Open 2024
About this tournament
UPDATE:
We are two weeks away! A few things as we approach the tournament,
YOU MUST REGISTER ON UDISC in order to get a card assignment for scoring. If you do not have a Udisc account, it is free to sign up, and can be done on the app or the website, or https://udisc.com/ paper scorecards will be available.
We will be accepting cash as well as online donations for those registered in the next two weeks. Please register to save your spot and select the no donation made option and bring cash or Venmo to the event.
There will be a $100 ACE pool sponsored by Northern Advantage Insurance LLC who will not only give 100 cash to the winning player but donate $100 back to YFC if someone makes an ACE!
There will be a CTP for each division on the first round and an all-divisions CTP on the second round.
We will have raffle prizes, extra player packs and a food truck for purchase so please bring cash if you want to participate in these and raise funds for the high schoolers! Some of the raffle prizes include: $200 voucher for meat from Alaska Sausage and Seafood; YFC Open/PC course themed hand painted hats by Wildbrush AK; home brewed root beer; some discs and other items from our sponsors!
Remember the BEG division will play their single round with the other divisions at 10A with the player meeting starting promptly at 9:30AM. PLEASE be checked in before this to ensure all cards are ready to play.
----
This is a non-sanctioned charity event for Youth For Christ Alaska, and all proceeds will be donated to YFC Alaska to support the high schools in the Chugiak-Eagle River area. We are a non-profit who go into the local high schools to host weekly Campus Life clubs. This is a space for students to be known, loved and seen. We bring snacks for the students, play games to connect with them and provide a safe space to have discussions about the life issues they deal with as teens from a Biblical perspective. We provide a consistency and a presence that so many students desperately need. For some, this is one of a few safe places they can go during the week.
$45 entry fee
Player pack from MVP with custom stamped disc and mini and more.
Please follow this link to make your donation:https://secure.qgiv.com/for/yfcopen2024/
