Below is all the information you need to get in and get playing at Wasatch Mountain State Park, in order of the weekend.

Camping
Camping opens tomorrow for all players who have registered for camping through tournament registration.

When approaching the gate, identify yourself as a tournament player and they will let you through. You will receive your parking pass for the weekend at tournament central during check-in.

RV Campers: Please arrive early, as it's tricky to park your rig if the parking lot is full. There are 4 spots available at the end of the Miners Retreat parking area.

Sleep In Your Car Campers: The best place to park for this is the Springer Hollow camp area. Please park tight, lots of cars need to get in.

Tent Campers: Please choose any of the test spots in either Miners Retreat or Springer Hollow group camp areas.

All overnight parkers: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CARS ARE PARKED TIGHT AT NIGHT. You will be asked to move your car Saturday and Sunday morning if you are not parked tight with a neighbor. We need to fit 60+ cars on Saturday and Sunday in that small parking lot.

Paid Parking
If you paid for parking as part of your registration, please inform the fine ladies at the booth that you are with the tournament and proceed to tournament central to check in and receive your weekend parking pass.

Player Checkin
Early Check-in: Available Friday from 3-9 PM at Miners Retreat Pavilion.

Day of Check-in: Please check in at tournament central 20 minutes prior to your tee time.

Please choose (1) disc of your choice on check-in and receive (4) raffle tickets.

Tee Times

Please review the following image for estimated tee time blocks for Saturday and Sunday (the only difference is that MP40 will tee off first on Sunday so that I can do awards as they come in.)

There will be NO STARTER for this event. Please be at hole one for your tee time 5 minutes prior to tee off.

There will be paper scorecards available for those that do not have service at the Wunder, also WiFi will be available at tournament central for you to start & finish your digital scorecard -- ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO SCORE.

Player Party, Chili Cookoff and Raffle

We have a full slate of 12 chili's to sample at this year's players party! All tasters receive (1) raffle ticket that they will award to their favorite chili. This is a great way of rewarding these fine people who have come to feed you! I hope to make this an annual tradition.

The winner will receive an MVP Black Hole Portal v2 and a custom trophy.

The raffle will happen on SATURDAY NIGHT, following the final tally of the chili cookoff.

This Chili Cookoff is sponsored by Heber Valley Brewing Company. Please stop in and have a pint after your Wunder Rounds.

Here is what is in the raffle this year (more was added today!). Raffle Tickets will be available for purchase at check-in, and all throughout the day on Saturday and during the Chili Cookoff.

Trophies and Awards

We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd trophies for every division. Awards will be completed immediately after your division finishes on Sunday.

Payouts

This event is a PDGA Endowment Fundraiser Program Tournament. This means that the non-profit receives the full benefit of your registration. The pro-payout is 25% less, and the Amatuer side of it is being run as a True Amatuer event.

We appreciate your support as we raise funds to match our Wasatch County TAP Grant to upgrade the Wunder.

Volunteer Opportunities at the Wunder this fall

We will be spraying weeds and spreading grass & wildflower seedmix this fall. Towards the end of fall so that seeds can root in the spring.

This has been an excellent tournament and I believe it’s due to the Tournament Director and his excellent assistants. Thank you Scott! Keep up the wonderful work and I’ll definitely come to any other tournament in which you’re the TD! The CTPs on every hole on day one for each pool was a great surprise and very much appreciated!

We have $4700 worth of stuff in the raffle! You can buy tickets day of, or save time and buy them on registration. We will write your name on your raffle tickets for you if you prebuy! Update your registration. The list of raffle items are in the “photos” section on discgolfscene.

There has been a slight change to the caddy book, hole 14 will now play as a traditional island with a drop zone. The drop zone is currently unmarked and is on the back side of the green. It'll be a 25' "wunder putt". This change is for safety reasons as we are playing the wooded location for hole 5.

I would like to play in the tournament but I work at 5 pm on Saturday. If I’m playing in MA3 my tee time should be early enough to do both yes?

YURT AUCTION! This is a great place to stay for the tournament. It is currently up for rent via registration for $300. However, since we haven't had any action on it, we are going to AUCTION the yurt off!

Highest bid (or first person to buy it on registration for $300) get's the yurt. The auction ends Wednesday night at 8PM MST.

The yurt will sleep 6 comfortably (10 uncomfortably). The yurt has it's own water and power.

We have 7 contestants competing for an MVP Black Hole Portal v2 baskets by bringing a chili to the player party for Wunderfall! Every vote for their chili is raffle entry for ANOTHER black hole portal V2! (Among other things.)
