The course will be marked roughly 2 weeks prior to the event with OB lines, and tee boxes / basket positions marked with landscaping flags. With part of the layout being temporary the baskets for the temporary holes will be set up and taken down the day of the event.

Early registration is a perk of being a member of the South Puget Sound Disc Golf Association and we have followed the PDGA rules by only allowing early registration to 33% of the entire field and to no more than 50% of any one division. Prior to general registration opening on 2/22 at 7:30pm, we will expand the divisions to their full size and people will be able to register for the remaining 72 spots.

Thank you mark. Appreciate the clarification on that. I get it’s a perk, but from my standpoint (and likely my arrogance) was full and not letting anymore players in. Happy it is going to 72 and hope I get in to enjoy this tournament. Sounds exciting.

Just choose not to at this time. I work in Seattle mom-fri and have a 8 and 9 year old with there activities. I play tournaments when they are with there mother every other weekend when she has them.

IMHO, PDGA regs not withstanding local doers on the course should get first dibs. People who put their cash and labor deserve a break.

It will be the same twenty hole layout used in previous years with tournament holes 10-15 taking place on the community center/lake side of woodland creek park.

I've played the layout several times, here's a hole breakdown:

A: plays ~315' and obstructed by some late trees and blocked if you go too far right. A hyzer shot can get there, but having a 40 footer is sommon after catching late trees

B: ~375' in the driving range area. Th ... more

I've played the layout several times, here's a hole breakdown:

A: plays ~315' and obstructed by some late trees and blocked if you go too far right. A hyzer shot can get there, but having a 40 footer is sommon after catching late trees

B: ~375' in the driving range area. The green plays like an island, but you can lay up left anywhere down the fairway. OB tall grass right the whole way that you have to clear to park the green

C: ~340' with a narrow fairway: OB path left and OB tall grass right. This hole plays hard and Skippy

D: ~300' uphill. If you land short there is rollaway potential. Long or left may skip OB. Slower, grabby green

E: high 5xx-low 6xx' par 4. Throw a clean Max distance drive straight or slightly left, then probably a FH or turning shot down to a right-sloping green.

F: +/- 250' open hyzer. OB on all sides, but the easiest of the group.

Only A and E really have trees in play. The rest are just open placement shots with OB to make them tougher
