About this tournament
1 round of play
Women of the Woods - WGE
On May 9, women from all around the world will play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating Women's Global Event (WGE). Scores from each participating tournament will be submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score." The Global Scores will be updated throughout the day to determine the Women’s Global Event Champions and the winner in each division will receive a memorable trophy.
Please join us for Western Washington's Women's Global Event, which will be a one day, two round tournament at NAD Park in Bremerton, WA.
We will be playing an alternate layout at Bud pell pell designed specifically for Women on the woods. All players will be playing for trophies and pros will be playing for cash. All amateur players will receive player packs. Juniors will be playing one round, beginning in the afternoon. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase and proceeds will go the West Sound Disc Golf Association.
Not a PDGA member? Good news: the PDGA is waiving the $10 non-member fee for this event!
Girls playing in FJ12 or younger will play only the afternoon round. Please expect to show up between 12:00 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. and check-in with Lisa Nienhuser or Alison Mabbutt at Tournament Central. The players meeting for the second round is expected to start around 1:00 p.m. Per the PDGA Competition Manual, parents/guardians must be responsible for their children during PDGA sanctioned events.
Thank you to our sponsors 360 Disc Golf and screen printing, Empowered Disc Golf, Throw Pink, and Women’s Peace of Disc Golf!
