Hal - any thoughts about pushing the tournament to Sunday? Not real keen on hypothermia on Saturday with 100% rain and 40's. Your not having very good luck with the weather on this one are you:)

As much as I hate to postpone this tournament, I will have to because of course conditions. All the bamboo is doubled over into the fairways and all wooded bamboo holes are unplayable. I just don’t think that they would be playable by 10am. I have contacted PDGA and SC TD coordinator about postponing the tournament until next Saturday the 18th. Again I apologize for the late decision

As of 12 noon today, I have decided to proceed with the tournament Saturday with a 10am tee time to give everyone a little more travel time. With that being said, we are responsible for our own actions so please don’t put yourself in danger. If you choose to not participate, you can issue a refund. Thanks for your understanding.

I’ve been in communication with the PDGA and the SC TD coordinator (Vern Weygandt) about the possibility of unsafe weather conditions this coming Saturday the 11th. I will be making a decision Thursday at noon to move forward with the tournament or to postpone it until the next Saturday the 18th.
It is in my best interest to help keep everyone safe, so I will make my best judgment. Hopefully I will have a better update Thursday. Thanks for your understanding.

Happy holidays! By chance will your Disc Golf Store be on site this year during the tournament?

No Sir. The owner of the store that’s normally onsite has sold out of all his disc golf stuff.
Unfortunately we can’t have tournaments at Williston park on Sundays. Sorry. Weather is definitely not on our side. Hopefully the rain bypasses Williston or pushes out early.
