Win SFDGC's Sponsor Spot in the 2023 OTB Open (CLUB MEMBERS ONLY)
About this tournament
The San Francisco Disc Golf Club is a proud sponsor of the 2023 OTB Open presented by MVP Disc Sports! As a sponsor of the event, the club receives 1 playing spot in the event. To determine who wins the spot, we'll be hosting a qualifying tournament on 4/16 after the SF Sunday Weekly.
Registrants will be placed into random groupings and begin their round of 18. The top 4 scores will advance to a Final 9, with scores carrying over.
To be eligible, you must be a current SFDGC member as of 4/7. All men must have a PDGA rating of at least 935, all women must have a PDGA rating of at least 800. The winner must be an active PDGA member by 4/17, an a PDGA Certified Official by 4/24.
Please do not register for this event if you know you are unavailable to play the weekend of the OTB Open, 5/12-5/14. Your spot in the tournament will be free, but all other accommodations must be arranged by yourself. If the winner ends up being unable to play in the OTB Open, the runner-up will be offered the spot.
All PDGA rules are in effect during this tournament.
We are aware that a raw score winner format favors MPO players over FPO. While women are still welcome to participate in this event, the SFDGC is offering to cover $150 of any current (as of 4/7/23) club member's FPO entry fee into the OTB Open. Please let us know if you're interested!
