Dirty Birdie presents The White River Rumble sponsored by Innova

Thanks to the support of Dirty Birdie Disc Golf Company, Innova discs, and local disc golfers we are bringing back The Disc Golf Dojo's first ever Arkansas tournament to West Fork! This will be a PDGA sanctioned B-Tier with a minimum of $750 added to the pro purse and huge player packs for ams! All players will play 2 rounds of 18 holes on Saturday, March 9th.

It has taken the support of many to make this event possible. In addition to our sponsors I want to thank a few people. Chad Harrison is the parks director in West Fork. He always has Carter Park in excellent condition and has helped coordinate the use of the school property again this year. Coach Lance Tucker has also been integral in coordinating the use of the Tiger course. He and the West Fork Tiger baseball team will help set up and tear down of the course for us. Matt Loyd with Dynamic Discs Northwest Arkansas has offered his baskets to use on the temp course and is ever supportive of all things disc golf in NWA. Courses
This event will be played on 2 courses in West Fork Arkansas. The tight and technical Carter Park and the West Fork Tiger Temporary course located at the West Fork schools.

Carter Park
Carter will test your gap hitting and scramble game. Birdies abound to those who hit the fairways but bogeys loom for those who don’t.

West Fork Tiger Temp Course
The Tiger Course has been designed with manageable distances, unique elevations on fairways and greens, and lots of OB to navigate. The scoring separation will be large at the Tiger course with many risk/reward opportunities.

We will put out a short video of the Tiger Course as we get closer to the event date. The layout will be mostly the same as it has been in the past. An overhead course map can be found in the photos section of Disc Golf Scene.

The course will be set up for the event and day following only. This is school property so availability for practice will be limited. Under no circumstance should disc golfers be on school property during school hours! Event staff will communicate with registered players to when it is appropriate to visit the school to check out the course.

Schedule
7:15-8:20am - Player Check In at Carter Park
8:30am - Player's Meeting at Carter Park
9:00am - 1st Round Start

There will be an hour lunch break from the time the last group finishes the first round. The official start times can be found on the PDGA Live Scoreboard App, PDGA event page, and will be posted to the event Facebook page (linked below).

Round 2 will be at the West Fork Tiger Temporary Course at the West Fork School campus.

After round 2 players awards and payout will take place at the West Fork Tiger Course. Raffle prizes will be available for pickup at that time. If no aces are hit during competition then we will have an ace pot throw-off .


Lunch
In the past the West fork concessions have been open for us at Carter Park. I have not yet confirmed if they will do this for us again this year but it is a likely possibility. I will update this once confirmed.


Scoring
A new rule for 2024 is that every player in PDGA sanctioned competition will be required to keep a scorecard. The easiest way to do this is to download the "PDGA Live" phone application. The event access code for the PDGA Digital Scorecard is "West Fork".

Raffle
We are organizing an epic raffle to add even more value to the event! Raffle tickets are available for purchase online independently or with registration. This will be an entirely digital raffle. Prizes will be drawn during the 2nd round of competition and will be available to pick up as players finish the event. We will have 20+ prize drawings. You do not have to be present to win! There will be a Facebook Live video to ensure the integrity of the drawing.

Flex Start Friday
We will be hosting flex start singles and doubles at Carter Park on Friday prior to the event, March 8th. These events are in addition to The White River Rumble and are optional. Anyone can play the flex start, even if they are not registered to play Saturday!

Players can tee anytime between 9am-4:45pm. Entry is $25 per person with an optional $5 ace pot entry. The Disc Golf Dojo traveling Flex Start ace pots will be in play.

Players who are currently registered for The White River Rumble will receive a discount code for the Flex Start Friday with your registration confirmation email.
