Hello - will the cards remain the same between rounds? Thank you!

Hey Sean,
I hope all is well with you sir. We’re still trying to make this decision. We will post updates here and on the Wells Branch Disc Golf Club Facebook page.
Stay tuned in the next week or so.
Has a decision been made about caddies next weekend? We are coming from the Tyler area and I’m just trying to see if my husband is allowed or if I need to find him something else to do for the day. Thanks!
Hi Terrell, I'm sorry for the delay in noticing/responding to your post. The short answer is no, caddies aren't allowed, because they'd take groups over the 4 players per group that the WB MUD has posted on the course. If your husband would like to follow behind your group, I think that'd be fine. Or, Northtown DISC, 15 minutes away would give him a cool course to play while you're playing.

We want the event to be fun and safe. We have to follow the COVID guidelines and keep a good amount of distancing to provide a safe tournament.
We will know more in the upcoming weeks.
I hope this helps.

Will caddies be allowed with the covid restrictions?
Hi Sean, A long overdue repy. The short answer is no, caddies aren't allowed, because they'd take groups over the 4 players per group that the WB MUD has posted on the course. If the caddie is a significant other who would like to follow behind your group, I think that'd be fine.
Hi Gabrielle, I was originally planning to have the first round cards made with scrambled divisions, so you would play with players from other divisions. Then, the second round, I was hoping to group players by division, placing the leaders of a division on the same card.
Do you have a preference for keeping the same cards between rounds vs. not? Would you feel safer if we kept the same card both rounds, from a social distancing point of view?
Hi Brian! I prefer same cards between rounds. I know that's not really how traditional disc golf tournaments are set up unfortunately, but it reduces the number of people you are exposed to for a prolonged period of time (exponentially, once you consider who your card mates have come in contact with regularly and if caddies are allowed). Thank you for your consideration!
Gabrielle, thank you for reinforcing that the event should be organized to be as safe as possible. We'll do the same players on cards both rounds.
