Fill available spots (if any) from the waitlist; prepare for the round; players meeting; etc; MAY run a little later than noon.

Play the Round; may start a little later than noon
After the round, mid-to-late afternoon: socializing, maybe putting or CTP games?, old prizes or payout the club owes to players from previous events will be available; results & awards, raffle drawing
Followed by packing up, loading up, and heading out :)

A charity event benefitting Central Texas Food Bank
Entry fee is $22
Your entry includes a $5 donation to the food bank, $2 PDGA fee, $2 greens fee, and gets you either an Ice Bowl T-Shirt – OR – an Ice Bowl set of “nesting” Minis & DX Disc.
Supplies are limited - first come first choice. We’ll also have long-sleeve shirts & higher quality discs for extra ~upgraded~ cost.
This is a PDGA XC-Tier event, but you will NOT be getting a rating (because we are selling mulligans). However, the good news is that non-active PDGA members & non PDGA members will NOT have to pay the additional $10 fee (because we are part of the PDGA’s charity program).
Other things different from most PDGA events that you need to be aware of:
1) There is NO payout at this event, but we will have a small prize for 1st place in each division (a disc or a shirt or something – so essentially a trophy only event with the “trophy” being a donated prize from a sponsor).
2) The card sizes will be larger than usual, up to 6 players per card.

Every year disc golf clubs, businesses, and people from around the world gather together to help fight hunger within their communities and to have a day of fun playing disc golf. We will be raising money and food for the Central Texas Food Bank.
The whole idea is to HAVE A GREAT TIME while helping others.
We will also have mulligans for sale and a big raffle.
Bring 3 or more non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank and receive 1 free raffle ticket.
Mulligans can be purchased when registering online, but can also be bought at the event when checking in. They can be used on any shot (but you must take the 2nd "mulligan" shot no matter what, even if it is worse than the original shot). We will have a small drawing at the end for a few prizes from among the mulligan ticket purchasers.
SPONSORS AND PRIZE DONATIONS NEEDED: If you have anything you can donate as prizes, please let us know or bring it with you. Anything we receive, we will give away! You can also do a cash sponsorship through the DGS registration page at any time or through your individual registration as you are signing up.
Registration will be available here at DG Scene starting with women only at 8pm on Tuesday, Jan. 16th, followed by opening it up to everyone at 8pm on Wednesday, Jan. 17th.
ONE ROUND STARTING AT NOON
Check-in begins at 10:00am at Tournament HQ at the Brewery
MANDATORY CHECK-IN: you MUST check in by 11:30am or you will lose your spot to someone on the waitlist.
Come join us on our traditional "Saturday-before-the-Super-Bowl" on February 10th for Waterloo Disc Golf Club’s 24th Annual Ice Bowl.
When you are registering here on DG Scene, you will have some options available after you put in your division to help with fun and fundraising:
1) Buy Mulligans (up to 5 mulligans, $2 each)
2) Make an extra donation to the food bank (amounts from $5 - $25)
3) Be a tournament sponsor (amounts from $25 - $150)
All are voluntary, but all help the event and the food bank; and we will appreciate each and every one :)
You will also have a couple of voluntary options regarding club membership:
4) Become a New Member of Waterloo Disc Golf Club at our greatly discounted Ice Bowl Membership Drive rates
5) Renew your existing Waterloo DGC membership for 2024 (and beyond – you can renew for multiple years, saving money and time)
If you don’t want to take the extra time during your registration to look at / accept these options, you can always go back to your record later and add them in.
You can also go back to the main DGS registration page later and “register” again, this time using the “non-participant” Division Codes: SPON for Sponsor, DNAT to make a donation, or MEMB to join the club or renew your existing membership.

Cancel on Friday Feb. 9th or by 11:30am on Saturday Feb. 10th: if we can fill your spot, you will receive a $17 refund ($5 balance donated to the food bank); if we can’t fill your spot there is no refund available.
- No-shows on Saturday morning:
If you just don’t show up to check-in on Saturday by 11:30am there is no refund available.
