About this tournament

Join us fellow disc golfers as we continue to complete the first section of the new disc golf course up at Waahila Ridge!

LET'S GO!!!

WHAT TO BRING!
1. Gloves
2. Mosquito Repellent - those buggahs are fierce up there!
3. LOTS OF COLD WATER
4. Lunch (*we plan to bbq hotdogs....
5. Tools if you have any of the following it will help. What we need (several hand loopers, 2-3 chainsaws, many hand saws, hard rakes, several shovels)

WHAT TO WEAR!
1. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing such as covered shoes, protective clothing, gloves, and eye protection (if you will be operating a chain saw).
2. Head protection (hat) and sunscreen should be worn as protection from the sun.

Golf Central for this workday will be located at the Pavilion closest to the parking lotd, near hole 18.

For those interested we may also do a course walkthrough.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST SIGN A RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER PRIOR TO DOING ANY VOLUNTEER WORK AT HILA!!!

AFTER YOU REGISTER YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH THE LINK TO COMPLETE THE WAIVER FORM.

YOU ONLY NEED TO SIGN THE WAIVER FORM ONCE FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR, SO JULY 1, 2024, THROUGH JULY 1, 2025.

For the first three months (July, August, and September) we will have two workdays a month to get a strong foothold on building this course. After the first three months we will reevaluate our progress and determine how to proceed for the next quarter (October, November, and December).

Refund policy

Orientation and Safety Meeting (MEET AT THE PARKING LOT)

Complete the stairs up to the basket of hole15. Continue to thin out and remove guava up from the bottom of the hole and left of the basket placement. Create stairs on hole 16 up the fairway from the bottom of the hill to about mif way up. Create stairs up to the road from the basket area. Clear remaining guava on the fairway of 16 left of the current basket placement to prepare for a second pin placement. and thin out the hanging ironwood branches in fairway towards the bottom. On hole 17 - create stairs up from the road. Create stairs down and up to the basket on hole 18. Clear out guava behind teebox on 18 for a seating area.

Lunch Break. The club will bring ice water and other drinks, a BBQ grill and hotdogs and chips.
