WPAS Winter's End Warmup - Presented by Camber Disc Golf Company

Welcome to the first event of the 3rd Annual Western PA Series of Tournaments!
This event is worth 1.25 points!

This event will be a PDGA sanctioned C-tier with 2 rounds of 18 holes at Deer Lakes Park! This event is presented by Camber Disc Golf and is a Pittsburgh Flying Disc Affiliate event! Layout for the event will be announced and put into the ground by Tuesday before the event. Barring weather issues we intend to mark Circle 1 and non-pavement OB lines with white paint & Flags.

Saturday divisions: All pros, Advanced Amateurs, and MA2
Sunday divisions: All other amateurs including age protected amateurs & juniors

Parking, Players Pack and Side Pots:

Parking and Tournament HQ: Allegheny Parks have specifically asked us to move our main parking area to the upper gravel lot between holes 8 and 9 (see map in pictures). Tournament HQ where check-in and pay outs will be located here as well.

Players Pack: TBD

Ace Pot: The ace pot pays out 100%. If no one hits an ace, there will be a throw off for 50% of the ace pot each day.

Hole 1 - A (Short right pin)
Hole 2 - C (Long left pin)
Hole 3 - B (Left pin)
Hole 4 - C (Middle pin)
Hole 5 - B (Long Right pin)
Hole 6 - A (Short middle pin)
Hole 7 - A (Short left elevated pin, all divisions will play white tee)
Hole 8 - B (Middle pin)
Hole 9 - A (Short right pin, Pavilion OB and OB line from last year removed)
Hole 10 - COMBO HOLE PAR 5 (Gold layout tee see below)- Hole 10's Red Tee to 11's Basket - B (Long pin)
Hole 12 - A (Middle pin)
Hole 13 - C (Far left pin)
Hole 14 - A (Right pin [Old C Pin])
Hole 15 - B (Right pin)
Hole 16 - B (Short left pin)
Hole 17 - B (Far right pin)
Hole 18 - B (old C pin in the middle)
Temp Hole A - Tee is located across the road from 18's basket. Play to Hole 10's A pin location. Road and parking lot play as an OB river. The tee location will be marked with flags at least 1 week before the tournament.

Tee Assignment:
MPO & MA1 - Event specific gold Tees (see below and pictures section)
FPO, MP40, FA1, MA2, MA3, MA40, MA50 - White Tees
All other divisions - Red Tees

Event Gold Tee Layout is the normal Blue Tee layout with the following changes:
-Hole 3: Red Tee as a par 4
-Hole 6: Red Tee as a par 3
-Hole 9: White Tee as a par 4
-Hole 10-11 Combo: Hole 10 White Tee to Hole 11 Long Pin as a par 5. Mando left of marked tree near 11's tees.
-Hole 14: Red Tee as a par 4

Division Notes:
Division Caps for waitlists will be adjusted on March 1st and again April 1st if necessary.

Divisions with less than 3 players will be asked to move into divisions with enough players.

Divisions with less than 8 players signed up by 2 weeks before registration closes may not receive trophies if the event provides them.

The Western PA Series will consist of several events over the course of 2025. Anyone who enters one of the events this season will be entered to win their division's WPAS Trophy at the final event of the season. The event TD is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. We follow PDGA Event Rule 1.03 for all refunds unless extenuating circumstances are communicated to the TD.
