WGE- WomenROC edition is just about here! So excited to spend the day with all of you fabulous ladies!
Couple things to note:
1. Unfortunately, Shadow Pines has not been mowed recently (it is spring & has been super rainy), so we will be playing in the fields of dandelions. Just be prepared! Don't expect any ground play, but perhaps it will stop discs from going ob?!
2. OB is going to be paved paths, staked fairways, & lined water. The island hole plays as a hazard if off the island. There is a nice & defined white line notating that. The bunkers are lined with white paint, but we will not be playing them as hazards for this tournament. All obs will be listed on the pdga live scorecard.
3. Due to a miscommunication, there will only be the porta potty in the parking lot - I'm so sorry for this!
4. Spoonful of Sugar Cookie Truck will be here from 12-1, you will get a coupon to redeem your free cookie when you register!
5. Raffle tickets & t-shirts are awesome - can't wait to see who is going to win some cool things!
6. It is going to be warm, plan accordingly. We will have water & snacks out on the course & at Tournament Central.

Hello Ladies!


We are SO excited to have you join us for the WGE WomenROC at Shadow Pines on Sunday-it's finally here!!


Here are a few things to be aware of.


1. We have some amazing raffle prizes (anyone can purchase raffle tickets, not just participants!) Tickets will be available to purchase during player check-in & during lunch
1 ticket for $2
3 tickets for $5
7 tickets for $10
20 tickets for $20
You will be able to put your ticket in the brown bag in front of the items you want to be in the running for.


2. $5 Ace Pool & $5 50/50 CTP available to sign-up for & pay at check-in - cash only please!


3. Player Packs are AWESOME! Not only has the PDGA outdone themselves with what they have gotten for us, but Janet has made a fabulous wooden sticker & bottle openers for each of you to have. AND?! Special thanks to Chelsea Whitney & her girls - EACH PLAYER WILL RECEIVE A COOKIE COUPON TO USE DURING LUNCH! A Spoonful of Sugar Bakery will have her Sugar Shack Cookie Truck @ Shadow Pines starting at 12noon and staying until 1pm. You will get to redeem your cookie coupon and choose which kind you would like - I do not have the choices as of this moment, but I am assured that they will all be delicious! You will also be able to purchase additional items if you want, perhaps a snack for after the round?


4. Juniors will be playing the morning round only - if you know of any other young lady who would like to join us, let me know! Prizes will be awarded for them at Lunch - cookies & trophies? Yes please!


5. LUNCH. Lunch will be provided. It will be a build your own sandwich spread complete with bread/wraps/deli meat/veggies/condiments. Fruit & veggies & chips will also be provided. Napkins & plates & water will also be available. **If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies - please let me know so I can make sure to have some options for you! There are going to be dairy free & gluten free alternatives available.
6. Each division will have a trophy awarded (Hooray for Janet - they are SWEET!). Payout depends on the registration numbers in each division. The GRDG has made sure that those who do not receive any payout will get a disc - thanks so much to the club for their continued support for the WomenROC group!


7. BackBone Discs & Flying Disc Pro Shop will be set up with great disc selections & other things as well.


8. Janet will be at Shadow Pines on Saturday @ 1pm (if you aren't playing the Buffalo WGE) to play through the course with anyone who would like to come out & play.


9. T-shirts got picked up today & they look fantastic! If you didn't order one, there will be some available to purchase Sunday.


10. Lastly, thank you so much for coming & playing with us Sunday. What an incredible event to be a part of across the world! Good luck to those who are playing Saturday, you're going to do great!
