This is the grand opening event for the new 9-hole , WC Griffith Disc Golf Course at Faircrest Park in Canton, Ohio.

The schedule is as follows;
10:00 - dedication ceremony,
10:30 - free clinic... history, rules, discs selection, driving, approach, putting
noon - free nine hole, 2 person scramble with prizes... pair beginners w/ 'pros'
2:00 - 18 hole singles tournament... by player rating w/ beginner division...
beginners & <850 play all shorts / 850 - 900 short & long >900 longs
$10 entry... payout 50% cash or discs / 50% for course improvements
