Veterans for Vets @ VFW Post 7119
About this tournament
THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT - WE HAVE SOLD OUT AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE ANY ADDITIONAL PLAYERS UNLESS THERE IS A DROP.
Charity Flex Start - Start anytime between 10am -3pm. Need 3 for a card if you have a group your welcome to play together and if you don't have a group beforehand we will get you on the next card out after you arrive - We will be playing the current 10 hole layout but each player will throw 2 drives per hole and play each one to completion to record 2 scores for each hole so by the end of the 10 hole loop you will have 20 holes scored.
Each player will receive a players pack with one putter (base plastic) and one midrange or driver (premium plastic). A portion of each entry fee will go to support VFW post 7119.
Following in the footsteps of the Trilogy Challenge, Veterans for Vets is a new event designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans!
