Tournament completion (could be sooner or later) trophies, ctp, ace prizes will be awarded after the round is completed. Ctp throw off if no aces are hit. Raffle prizes will end the event (must be present to win)
1:30pm - 3:00pm
Buy, sell, and trade swap meet. Open to anyone to set up and barter disc golf stuff! Set up a table or the trunk of your car and mingle with fellow disc golfers!

About this tournament
1 round of play
The Whitesville Veterans for vets tournament will be 1 round of all 21 holes!
Adv/Pro Male division will play all 21 holes as designed (mostly). The pro males will play hole 6 from the original pad to the long basket. Hole 11 will be played from the long pad to the regular pin position. Hole 21 will be a par 4 from the original tee to the new long basket.
All other divisions (besides Adv/Pro Male) will play the original 21 (mostly). Hole 5 will be played from a shorter tee pad to the regular pin location. Hole 6 will be played from a shorter tee pad to the long basket. Hole 10 will be a par 4! Hole 11 will be played from the shorter tee to the regular pin position. Hole 19 will be played from an alternate tee location to a temporary pin. Hole 20 will be played from a shorter tee location to the regular pin location. And hole 21 will be played from the regular tee pad to the short pin position as a par 3.
Come out and support our local veterans and active military and have a fun day out on the course! This event is unsanctioned and solely for raising funds for active military and those who served previously. I have chosen American Vetrans Post 75 in Owensboro to be the recipient of the money raised because of the volunteers dedication to our military personnel and their families.
Hole sponsorship is available for $25 per hole. We will have tons of raffle items up for grabs! There will be a veteran basket that will be in the raffle prizes! Additional raffle items are bags, discs, chalk bags, towels, and much more!
Veterans for Vets is an awesome event designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans!
