Veterans for Vets Doubles

The 2024 Veterans for Vets event will be ran as a BYOP doubles through the charity endowment program. 2 rounds, round 1 will be best shot doubles, round 2 will be modified alternating shot. for the alternating shot round one player will tee off on all the even holes then alternate shots until the hole is finished then the other player will tee off on all the odd holes and alternate shots until the hole is complete. The first 25 teams will receive a players pack with a premium Mid or Driver and a base line putter. Trophies will be provided to the first place team of each division only. All divisions will play short tees.

Veterans for Vets is designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans! You can use your own discs for the round, not just the player pack discs.

This event will have all proceeds go to Shepherd's House located in Fort Wayne, IN.

For this event we are offering a combined Ace and 50/50 CTP for $5. $3 will go to ace fund & then we will pay out $1 to the closest drive on Hole 1. If no aces are hit this money will be donated to the charity. (The other $1 from the 50/50 goes straight to the charity)
