Good evening, all!

I'd like to take this moment to thank you again for participating in our second annual Veterans Day fundraiser tournament! For the last few years, I have run a handful of these events, but last year was the first year we decided to kick off each season on Veterans Day itself.

If you registered after this past Monday, you can see all the details from the initial email I sent HERE. Otherwise, here's the short and sweet of it:

By now, the baskets should be set up for our layout. That map is attached. If for some reason Parks did NOT get our baskets placed, we'll call an audible and play them as they are by using the Main Layout on UDisc as opposed to the one with this tournament's name.

Check in from 10:00-10:45.
Players meeting at Hole 1 at 10:45.

From there you will disperse yourselves in groups of 3-5 and start on the hole of your choosing. We will be using UDisc to score, so please make sure at least one person on your card has UDisc and can sign all players on that card in to the event.

Jerseys and hoodies are still available for online purchase and direct ship. Just go to your registration page to add one on. This is the last time this year they will be this inexpensive!!

To reiterate, this is NOT a sanctioned tournament, but please play responsibly. There are no players packs at this one to maximize the funds we raise for our organization, but I do have a first place trophy for each division. 

Bring a friend, or two. Registration will be open all the way until the player's meeting.

Hello, all! 

Thank you for supporting Veterans and helping us to grow the sport of disc golf by integrating both communities. I hope you are as excited as I am to kick off our Veterans disc golf charity events with our second annual Veterans Day tournament this Saturday! Attached you will find the caddie card, and below you will find some notes.

THIS IS A NON-SANCTIONED, CHARITY EVENT. There are NO players packs at this first stop in our series. Instead, we are offering this year's limited edition jersey and hoodie at a price you will not see again! It's not too late to add one or both to your registration; we'll get 'em shipped out directly to you just as soon as you order.

We are starting shotgun style promptly at 11:11 AM. You'll sign in with me at tournament central by Hole 1 anytime after 10:00 and before 10:45. PLAYERS MEETING at 10:45 at tournament central. You'll then form groups of 3-5 and head on out to the hole of your choosing (Hole 1 is reserved for TD).

We are NOT closing the course, so feel free to let casuals play through if you so choose. This is NOT a sanctioned event, but please be exceptionally courteous if you choose to partake in extracurricular activities. This event is designed to bring fresh players to the game, and we would like everyone to have the best experience possible.

The parks guys will be out sometime this week to rearrange the baskets for us. We will be playing Hole 5 in the short position, and that is your CTP. Buy-in is $10, and winner takes half the pot. You can still add it on to your registration. 

Special note: Adams County is holding a veterans salute ceremony at 9:00 AM on Friday, Nov 10th at the fairgrounds near the course, if you're interested in attending. I would also highly recommend you visit the memorial just around the corner from the course sometime before or after your round; it's exceptional and a beautiful tribute.
