Anyone find a loco iv stamped kc pro roc at the chuck d course? No name but it's got an ace written on it, rh #12.....
Jeremy Gibbs October 20, 2009 at 8:52pm
That's one thing I really like about the Chuck D course. Not alot of easy birdies and plenty of tough pars.
Scott White October 20, 2009 at 7:39pm
Agreed. it is a par 4 that is hard now and will probably get a little easier over time.
Jim Daniels October 20, 2009 at 7:04pm
it's a difficult par 4 that can be occasionally birdied but is more often bogeyed -- a typical ball golf course has at least 2 or 3 tough par 4s where the average score is closer to bogey.

# of good shots + 2 putts = par
peter kunoff October 20, 2009 at 6:12pm
not that we are completely comparable but it is rare in ball golf to use scoring average to determine par.....par should always be determined by the number of good/accurate shots need to complete a hole....I think #1 on chuck d is a par four......

I had a great time. Tournament went south for me directly after hole 1 Chuck D. Thanks for throwing a bad ass tourney like always.
Daemon Stahlin October 20, 2009 at 5:53pm
a 3 on #1 is not an eagle.
Scott White October 20, 2009 at 6:51am
Brown, Holtzapple and Treece all took a 3 on 1
Grant Anderson October 20, 2009 at 6:18am
i know chris brown 3'd 1
Jeremy Gibbs October 20, 2009 at 6:15am
How many 3s on 1?
Scott White October 20, 2009 at 5:29am
Solo Deuces on Sunday:
Hole 2: Frame (I spit out from 100 ft. dead center)
Hole 13: Critter
Hole 16: Steve Hudok
Hole 18: Dan Treece

A few interesting stats from this weekend.
Pro and AM1 (21 players) on the Chuck D Course:
Hole 1 average score was 4.7 with 5 being the most common score. Is it really a par 4?
Only one deuce on holes 2,13,16 and 18.
Holes with the lowest scoring spread: 16 and 17 followed closely by 7, 11 and 18.
A deuce was the most common score on hole 10.
Hole 6 played tougher than I thought it would in ideal conditions. Average score was 3.5 and nine people took a four or worse.
