About this tournament
Welcome to the first annual Ultiworld Open! The tournament takes place the day following the USA Ultimate Club National Championships.
The Ultiworld Open is a one-round C-Tier / XC-Tier event at Morley Field DGC in San Diego. There are four divisions -- MPO, FPO, MA1, and FA1.
The MPO/FPO divisions are designed to be for players who want to compete in a standard disc golf tournament, with cash prizes available to the top finishers. (Amateur players can accept prizes in lieu of cash to maintain their amateur status.)
The MA1/FA1 divisions have special rules: all players must use a 175g ultimate disc everywhere on the course except for throws inside of circle 1 (33 feet), where they can also use a putter.
Division sizes may be adjusted based on demand, so please register for the waitlist even if your preferred division fills up.
All divisions are $30 for PDGA members and $30 + a $10 one-time event fee for non-members.
The tournament will have tee times starting between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
There will be a maximum of 60 players allowed into the tournament due to capacity limitations at Morley Field.
