Do I have to be there to check in at 9:00 if my tee time isn't until closer to 11:00? I know I need to be at the tee box 5 minutes before my start time, just wanted to make sure I don't accidentally miss something.

I’m not affiliated w this event - but you don’t need to show up at 9:00 for an 11:00 tee time. Show up 20-30 minutes before to get your players pack and should be good to go

One important note here is that trophies were ordered a few days ago, so there will not be a trophy for FA4 if this move does happen.

I've naturally received a lot of questions about tee times.

Just so y'all know what to expect, I'm leaning toward starting tee times at 10am both days, but that final decision will depend on how many more folks sign up. We'll adjust if needed. I'll get the actual tee times posted on PDGA and the FB group on Friday.

In order MA4 will be first, followed by MA3, then MA2. Then we’ll have MA60, MA50, MA40, FA1, MA1, MP50, MP40, and finish with MPO. Some divisions will have to merge based on registration numbers, so keep an eye out for that too.

Put the ma60 in after ma4 and ma50 after ma3 seems to work with other tournaments that I play. I like earlier tee times so I can watch the pros on different holes .

I don't mind that idea and I appreciate the feedback but I'll have to stick with what I posted as I know some people have made plans around that. I'll definitely consider this for next year.

We have made the decision based on registration numbers to move to one course of 27 holes. Of the two available layouts, the Arenas course makes more sense due to proximity to the amenities and I truly believe that it will be very enjoyable by all different skill levels.
This also means that we can focus all of our efforts on this one course and really make it shine!

I understand if this change means that you would no longer like to play and I will offer refunds if necessary.

I was in Tryon yesterday for business and was curious where the courses would be set up. In your estimation, how easy/difficult do you think the course would play going in blind?

It will be very easy to follow with the map that you can find in the pictures and a udisc layout that will be available. We will also have tents and feathers all over the place so it'll really pop when it's all set up!

MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1 and MA40 are playing the Lake Course both rounds (27 holes).One round Saturday and one round Sunday. Tee Time.

There are not plans for that right now because the pools have been set up to differentiate between different levels of challenge on the different courses. If it ends up seeming necessary, that could change.
