I'm new to tournament play, are we going in groups of 4 or 5? And are they assigned randomly?

Groups will be no larger than 4, and some cards may have 3 players depending on total players, how many are in each division, etc.

Round 1 will be random, round 2 will be based on the previous round's score (starting with best scores on the top card for each division, going down to worst).

Why no amateur divisions for da ladies?

Just one division. It's not sanctioned, so it doesn't really matter much.
