About this tournament
Good Evening Everyone!
I hope you are all well and ready for another year of the Treeze Tournament hosted at Lums Pond State Park. First off, I would like to thank everyone who donated to the course.
Your donations will assist and continue to make improvements over the next year. Below is the information that I would normally go over during a players meeting but until further notice I will continue to not have a formal players meeting.
Check-In will be set up at the new pavilion located near hole 8.
This email will serve in place of a players meeting and that participants may ask questions up to the close of check-in. Below you will find some basic tournament guidelines and special requests for the event.
Regarding these guidelines and requests, I personally am asking that you adhere to the benefit of having a disc golf event at a time when stress is high and there are a lot of unknowns. I believe that to continue to host and participate in events our community must lead by example. If you feel that any request or guideline does not meet your beliefs or opinion simply request a withdrawal or simply do not come to the event.
My goal is to have a fun, competitive and safe event and everyone’s cooperation to exceed that goal is greatly appreciated. Other than that and the information below let’s all have a great weekend and a fun time!!!

Round 1 assignments will be posted the evening before the event.
General Tournament Rules
1. It is the responsibility of the participant to know the course layout and have a clear understanding of the PDGA rules and Competition Manual. Questions are allowed prior to the start of the event.
2. All participants in this event will acknowledge that there are walking paths that intersect with the disc golf course. If park patrons are utilizing the walking paths, please respectfully wait for them to pass or utilize a spotter to ensure safety. This is a park with a disc golf course not the other way around. The course is closed to casual play.
3. There are mandatory doglegs on the course, drop zones and no two-meter penalties. Ob’s/Hole Information are listed below and attached and within the course information listed under pictures on either discgolfscene.com tournament page.
4. SPOTTING - It is the responsibility of each player to watch their throws, but it is mandatory for all players to assist with spotting for their card mates. There are a lot of leaves on the course and speed of play is important at Iron Hill. If a player is searching for their disc, ALL the players on the card must assist, and a 3-minute clock/timer MUST be used. After 3 minutes if the disc cannot be found that player must return to their previous lie and assess 1 penalty stroke. Example: A player throws their tee shot and cannot locate it after the 3-minutes has expired, that player must re-tee.
