About this tournament
TreeMagnets Disc Golf is hosting this event to raise funds for the Akron TeePad Project and providing $2500 worth of prizes to support the effort.
We are excited to bring a completely new format to the area as this XC tier event will consist of 27 different stations designed to test every aspect of your game. Stations will include different putting scenarios, multiple >200ft approach shots requiring shot shaping, a single distance station, and even some holes utilizing Ace Race scoring/layouts.
Having this event sanctioned as an XC tier event utilizing the Charitable Endowment Program will allow players to maximize PDGA points to qualify for events next season while waiving the non-PDGA fee for others.
All registrants will also be eligible to attend a morning disc golf clinic run by MVP sponsored Pro, Dan Brooks-Wells. It will feature a backhand, forehand, and putting station. It's the perfect opportunity to learn new skills or refine their current ones at no additional cost before heading out to win some amazing prizes.
Lastly, Bomberger's will also be on hand grilling up fresh food for lunch by donation with all profits also being donated to the Akron TeePad Project!
