About this tournament

This event will be a training seminar for Junior golfers along with a mini tournament to allow the young golfers to practice what they learn.
We have recruited several Professional Disc Golfers from here in Georgia to come in to Claystone's new Ace Run Hollow Junior disc golf course to provide training sessions to junior golfers who wish to learn about the sport and/or improve their game.
The Macon Aces Disc Golf Club will also be in attendance to provide support and additional training opportunities.
Starting at 6:00pm, the older youth will play an 18 hole mini tournament on the Ace Run Hollow course (2 rounds of 9 holes) while the younger kids are going thru training sessions with our Pro and Club Players on Disc Golf rules/etiquette, forehand throws, backhand throws, putting techniques, and how to get more distance on your throws. When the 15+ group finishes the 18 holes, the younger golfers will play a 9 hole mini tournament while the older kids go thru training sessions.
This is intended to be a fun, learning event.
Each youth golfer will receive a players pack consisting of a Penrose putter and Prodigy mid-range disc.
