Throwdown at Taylor Mountain
About this tournament
This is a 1 day two round UNSANCTIONED Fundraiser event in support of the Sonoma State University Disc Golf Club!
This event will be hosted at Taylor Mountain and will feature a fun and unique layout with some signature SSUDGC flair with some roped islands, mandatory's, and drop zones! Remember to pay for parking! :)
The event will also contain players packs with an SSUDGC Club stamped disc from AGL Discs, a company which makes all there discs from recycled and reground plastic in conjunction with Gateway! We at SSUDGC love AGL and have been partners with them since the clubs inception.
It is also trophy only event :)
All proceeds from this event go straight to help our team grow the sport of disc golf on a collegiate scale as well as expand!
An example of how our club has given back and made strides to grow the sport in the collegiate field is we have recently gotten full approval and are in the final stages of installing a pitch and putt course on the grounds of Sonoma State for all students. Something permeant to show and help grow the sport we all know and love. Projects like that wouldn't be possible without the support of you all, so please consider signing up to play this fun 1 day event!
From all of us at SSUDGC, we welcome you to join us for this 1 day, 2 round disc golf event !! Consider registering and we look forward to seeing you all on Sep 30th!
